For the Magic next season they have some decent pieces. Anthony, Suggs, Wagner and Carter are this teams future. With how many injuries and missed time from fultz and Isaac it is virtually impossible to tell how they will be able to contribute to this ball club in the future. It is best if you are the GM to operate the team as if they aren't part of the roster. This team does have some guys that could be of use like Bamba, Hampton and Okeke. The combination of idiotic and impatient trades are what Rob will be known for during his tenure, costing the Orlando fan base half a decade of awful roster turmoil. It isn't Vavik Ranidive awful, but it definitely cost them a squad that could have been at the very least a playoff mainstay.
Is it me or the Orlando Magic has bad luck when it comes to them drafting Centers? They drafted Shaq, Dwight Howard and Nikola Vucevic, Shaq and Howard had great careers in Orlando, led them to the NBA Finals and both suffered a loss. Vucevic had great numbers with the Magic, but all three of them have something in common and that’s leaving the Magic. Hell even Shaq and Howard both ended up with the LA Lakers and ended up winning championships (Shaq in 2000 through 2002, Howard with the Lakers in 2020) and Vucevic was traded to the Bulls (went to the playoffs the second year).
And the picks the magics made were solid over the years, surprisingly not as many busts as I thought there would be but man, benching oladipo and Aaron Gordon? And then trading sabonis like nothing and not letting him develop, they screwed up a bunch
They drafted well overall, they acquired really excellent pieces- their trade moves were just awful though… Before I get das flame, yes they had a couple misses, but that happens. Overall, they drafted well.

Love It!
😍😍😍
Biyombo deal fucked them up , which made NO sense considering they trade sabonis AND oladipo for Ibaka, and hezonja wasted a year of draft picks in a good draft. They had good talent such as Tobias sabonis oladipo and vucevic all at the same time. Those are 3 all stars and a fringe all star
🤦🤦🤦
