Great installation video, thanks for showing how it actually works
I have watched this video 3x, this install you simplified so many things, you really did a great job man. I appreciate it. I feel like I will struggle routing those lines, any advice for me?
real good video man, convinced me to look into this oil cooler as well with the florida heat! you made it look like a super easy install
Hey, I’m in Arizona as well, I got the 34 row thermostatic, I’m concerned about overcooling in the winter. Have you had any issues with overcooling? I’ve heard you don’t really wanna give the car much juice unless you’re over 180°, where does your car usually sit at temperature wise in the winter?
Great video man! You’re great at talking to the camera and walking through each step thoroughly. You could definitely do great on youtube! I know it’s hard to post often but you could do it! I’m subscribed good luck!
Hw do you know where to install the longer and shorter tube on the sandwichplate?? Are there any information
??
You can’t stop making RUclips videos you have to keep going I loved watching you fix everything and explain what your doing (could help people with the same problem one day) you should definitely post more then your account would get stronger.!
Haha I appreciate it! I’m gonna keep trying to post as regularly as I can!
What if next time you gotta replace or take off your air filter pod? Is the lines gonna be in the way?
I have a question. So if you have the oil cooler installed, do you need to fill it with more oil on the next oil change to account for the extra quart in the cooler?
Just do your normal oil change, no need to add any extra after you fill up your oil cooler first time you install
Just correction....@ 3:50 the thermostatic sandwich plate does not fully shut off, it still sends oil to the cooler(open about 20% when it's shut), it needs to keep the oil in circulation regardless
The non-thermostatic is always open
So what do you recommend ? I buy with thermostat or without ? Thanks
@@jozik_sk for track use= non thermostatic, daily use thermostatic sandwich
Def gonna do this, it’s just too hot in az
Thank you for this video man!
Hair maintenance tutorial when?
Yea bro I had one on my last Z. It was crazy good
How did you tighten the sandwich plate bolt, I can’t get a thin enough socket in there. Or do you just use the oil filter to tighten it down well?
Use pliers
What was the measurement of the an lines do up know?
Hi, what lenghts are hoses ? Thanks
Pinch weld, not frame rail
Hi, nice video, what you used for the threads, mine is having a leak
Where do u buy the adapters for the shift knobs?
All off Amazon! They are lugnuts with the same metric size as my shift linkage threads
how long did it take you to install this ?
Can’t go wrong wit Z1 … side note do you feel the 370z has an issue with blind spots does it affect you ever not really?
It’s not the greatest visibility car, however it doesn’t take much to see. Over the right shoulder you can see out all three windows, passenger, corner, and rear so no problem there. For my left I position my mirror so I only have to lean forward a little to cover my whole blind spot. So over all not bad at all!
I hear you brother I live in AZ and the temp goes to 230 and I’m just going 75 to 80. I need to install that soon
2010+ comes with built-in oil cooler plate between the fliter and engine, it uses coolant in the plate to heat exchange between the coolant and oil, it has it's limitations but for Daily use, its efficient
Hello can you make a drum shift knob
How many quarts of oil did you fill it up with?
1 in the cooler and 5 in the engine
