Awesome update, looking forward to the next installment 🤙🏽. I love the ecto body for cheater builds, i cut the rear bedsides with wheel openings instead of the weird flat sides. Cheers 👍🏼
@@Team_ReVolt they went well, but the way I have them set up means it sits really low and as a result it struggles with break over. Might switch the springs around and see how that goes.
Another good and informative video (bet you wish you'd put servo mount on axel first lol) but as you say we live and learn. Did you by any chance do the national over bank holiday weekend. I was looking to go but it clashed with one of my other Passion's . The lanc n tank military event at Lincs aviation spent all day Saturday watching their Lancaster and mosquito taxi around the airfield the tank firing and mortar attack etc what a day 21genuine WW2 jeeps present .
Thanks Geoff, I’ll know for next time that’s for sure. Didn’t get to Nats again this year, it sort of passed me by until it was too late. Lanc n Tank sounds interesting, I love watching old warbirds.
Thanks Pete. 🤙 I’ve recent switched to a FlySky Noble NB4 that I pickup used from a mate. Brilliant bit of kit and I’ve hardly scratched the surface or what it can do. Prior to that I’ve been using a FlySky GT5, also brilliant!
phil brindley when are u gonna come out with the ecto against ur gspeed still waiting i want to see whats the come out between both of them im a ecto fan and i have one as well want to see what it does plz thnx
Is there a way to have an aftermarket lcg chassis but with the trailing arms still attached? I have an ecto and want an lcg but I also want to keep the trailing arms. Is this even possible? Cheers mate!
This is a bit of a tricky one due to the nature of mounting a trailing arm and the associated shock positioning etc. Rock Pirates RC have a couple of specific products for retaining the trailing arms on the Ecto, but looking at them I think you still need to use the stock interior arm brackets that mount to the stock chassis and I doubt there are any LCG chassis' out there that have a provision for this. I don't think it's impossible, but would need some creative solutions to retain the correct geometry. Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on this one, would be interested to know how you get on if you do try. 🤙
Hi Dan. Hobbies are taking a bit of a back seat recently as I’m having work done on the house. Will be back soon (with a whole new studio setup too). Thanks for your ongoing support, means a lot! 🤙
OK well , I'm glad you are OK. just need another Phil video. was thinking of trying a low centre of gravity crawler kit and hopped you might be able to advise . I don't know why , but I really fancy building one Anyway get the house sorted and get a vid out please 😁
bit busy at work at the moment, but I am, sure this is going to be a belting video. it's on my list of things to watch once I finish
Hope you have a good day at work chap! 🤙
thanks Phil, cracking video. can't wait for the running footage and the Brindley seal of approval
Thanks @@danrees5520 , appreciate your ongoing support my friend! 🤙
Cool update. I appreciate, as always the little details like numbers and assembly order.
Thanks, I figure a lot of people like me use RUclips to find out how to do this sort of thing, so it’s frustrating when you can’t find the info.
Can't wait to see how it performs!! Lcg is my next investment so I'm not too far behind!
I really need to get some editing done! It performs very well, but this particular setup has some limitations!

I think it looks great, and makes a change from cab only looks. And I love the simple interior option that you get with this one. 🤙
Looking forward to the next one Phil.
Thanks. Got some proper testing done this weekend, so hopefully get a video out next Sunday. 🤙
@@PhilBrindley curious about the shocks.

Nice 👍🏾
