This is the first time I have watched one of your videos, and I will be happy to do so in the future again (assuming the rules presented were correct), though I do have a few small questions. You seem to be saying that an action marker on a ship doesn't prevent you from using it, only gems do? Does your own action marker prevent you from using the same ship, if its owner takes income between your turns? (Also, I was confused about the single action marker, which had only been shown going from your station to a ship or vice versa, but then I realized that it must be that you move it from ship to ship as you take actions. Or am I wrong about that?)
Thank you very much. ☺️ The action marker is basically just a visual reminder of which ship has just been activated. You can easily play the game without them (and to be honest, we don't use them in our group at all). So - the action marker does NOT prevent you from activating the ship if that ship has no gems on it, because the owner took the income action. Each player only has 1 action marker. As I said it's just a "visual player aid" to mark which ship has been activated so that all players can take the corresponding diplomacy bonuses.
Very straightforward. The iconography is very good although busy and necessary.

You mean your cards (ships) where you take actions?
If yes, then you don't add any, and you don't upgrade them, you only dismantle them! :)
