Therr would not even be THAT much more oxygen Too high concentrations are doing more harm than good for animals Which is why I would like to know how the dinosaurs respiratory system works
"How is there still a sandstorm happening?" Ever heard of the dustbowl? That wasn't in sand/desert, and a sandstorm would be a good representation of it in game.
To be fair, by the 1930s American farmers had basically turned the great plains into a desert. There were severe droughts, little to no trees and shrubs and the soil was so broken up it was basically sand
Vietnam is in the new frontiers pass and they get buffed in rainforest, forest, and marshes. So yeah If drew got the new frontiers pass with Vietnam and he does this again then Vietnam will definitely win!
Seeing how nearly all of Eurasia is one I don't think that'd be very fair, the only actual competition would be North America, but they still wouldn't stand a chance
7:00 Not quite. More oxygen only affects the size of insects. Humans would be mostly unaffected anatomically, although we would become more hyperactive with all the oxygen. One side effect of all the oxygen would be that forest fires would be way more commonplace.
@9:00 Over-exploitation in Deforestation can lead to sandstorms. But it's probably more fun to imagine that as a petal storm, as that means the population has to deal with a bunch of colorful decapitated leaves flying through the air.
20:06 Well that certainly explains why everything went to shit. The AI got so happy about recapturing CO2 to save the climate, that they decreased the global temperature by 163 degrees
19:02 *''Gotta say im a little dissapointed in humans, like the world started off so beautiful and now its just hideous, its just a disgusting mess''* - God, 2019, visualized.
11:05 - 11:12 There's actually a lot of Canada that's forested; Wikipedia says nearly half of the country. Yeah, it's a lot of boreal forests instead of tropical forests, but we know our way around trees.
Fun fact: Australia used to look like this before colonists showed up and decided to cut all the trees down for grazing land. Only for it to then turn to desert because the root system that was keeping the water from evaporating was gone
Forest fires were already paving the way around 70,000 BC. And the vast majority of “man made” climate change on Australia was manufactured by the aboriginal people, not the Colonists.
Actually, humans wouldn't be massive, because our bone structure isn't adapted to a massive size. However, arthropods (spiders and bugs) would be gigantic.
When you realize Roman Deep South is actually everything south of Naples, I've read some things, My Two Italies, Stolen Figs, give them a read, very insightful
When you realise Drew Durnil doesn't know the Dutch actually did an operation sea lion nearly 300 years before it was cool and succeeded, putting their leader on the throne of Britain. (Though to be honest unlike the Germans the Dutch had support of the crown princess and some nobles with high ranks in the British navy so the landing was kind of a lot easier when the British fleet thinks you're going to land on the other side of the island)
Now drew if you are actually interested in if humans would be massive because of the massive amount of oxygen, no the wouldnt. The giants under the dinos were so big because they laid eggs, didnt chew their food, had a bird like lung and had a flexible metabolic rate . Also humans would collapse under their own weight, bones would break and their heart wouldnt be able to pump the blood throught their body. I know it was a joke, its still interesting though
Drew talking about how bad a forest fire would be in this world in Australia... months before Australia has the worst forest fires the world has seen 🧐
