Hi. When you change fork did you do any adjustments at the rear and how this affected shock. Just worrying to swap fork over 150 travel , don't think this bike was designed for more than 150 ?
Hi Andrzej, I rode the bike with the specs I mentioned in the video for a few months and it was grand, hit jumps and heavy enduro trails and it was grand. There are folks that hit even bigger jumps than me or road gaps and it's grand. Now I have the ext shock on the back and bike is perfect, if you don't plan to increase rear travel then maybe only go up to 160mm front to avoid messing up geometry too much.
Look at 20:30. 203 rotors, lyrik 170, shigura, ztto cassette. I've a few more upgrades including a coil but I'm waiting on it to show it in full and give a real feedback review. I might actually give a quick review of how the bike handles and show the current upgrades.
@@suspensioncheck Thanks for sharing. Those trails look tough even when they are not slippery - which I'm guessing is almost never! I'm waiting on a Rise H10 and plan on some of the changes you are doing / have done. How does the 170 fork feel? Are you planning on keeping the stock shock size, or moving up to increase the travel in the back? Any insights you have would be appreciated! Thanks again.
In October I am going to get my rise in the same color as yours .. Looking forward riding it
