Orbea Rise Shimano EP8 motor & battery removal

I had to replace the bottle extender plate so I made a video in case it helps anyone else. In order to replace the plate, I have to drop the crank, chainring, motor and battery. In fact the Chain Whip tool wasn't used as I was able to get leverage from the other crank arm. First time I've done it I used the bike stand but it was easier to do it on the floor.

    • @suspensioncheck
      @suspensioncheck 2 года назад

      Hi Diego, I think it will be ok, I haven't even tried the 29er on the back because I really like jumping & steep sections and a 29er is not that fun on the back, especially on tight switchbacks. I broke already an Orbea Rise frame, I wouldn't go with a ZEB and I would go with 160mm if I was to choose again. It's better to keep the axle-to-crown shorter and ZEB has a big crown. The back is really progressive, never felt a bottom out, even with 140mm. I actually got used with 140mm on the back but when I put the 160mm it just felt more plush, I could get away with more.
