Frog's new camera is pretty friggin awesome lol and he's definitely able to show us pretty close to what he's seeing and it was pretty bad lmao I just didn't want to be mean. I'm already worried about my other comments sounding mean lmao…..and the whole time I was thinking a 600 dollar 4070 would have given you a way better path tracing experience and still pretty good fps in other games for waaay less than the price of the 7900xtx even on sale lol
@timothysullivan-pm3sl I'm gonna definitely upset some people with this video 😂.. The thing is I know how bad DLSS ultra performance at this resolution would look so I know how bad FSR would look. It actually however looks worse than I imagined. Funny enough I watched this recording back and filmed it playing on phone. The recording on my phone makes it look better. Filming an image on a screen through a camera definitely improves the actual image that's being shown on the screen....

@timothysullivan-pm3sl Yes agreed. The 7900xtx is extremely good at pure raster and will at most times beat my 4080 (destroys it in COD). However what gets ignored is its also pulling over 100w also. So it's not like that extra raster power isn't at some cost. I'm not gonna say that it's a big deal. But in a situation where the 7900xtx might be 5-10 fps faster it's also pulling over 100w to be so.
i always tell frog is easier to find the visual settings sweet spot instead of using ultra performance. but is froggie that why we love him so much 😂 also RR helps a lot on nvidia side.

I think when we looking to spend 1000 on a gpu we want to experience the best visuals but as we see amd very far from that. Yes raster is okay on the card but the last 5 years we playing ray traced games ff@. When i moved from console to pc there is a reason why. Visual quality. Amd cannot deliver that.

@DwaynedaGamer I'm not sure I'd need to take a look, but I don't see the difference in visual quality at native 3440x1440p vs 3840x1620p VSR. 1620p isn't that far from 1440p so I don't imagine it will have a huge impact, but I wouldn't do it anyway.. I can confidently say dlss quality at 3440x1440 looks better than fsr quality at 3840x1620 VSR. DLSS quality at 1440p actually looks very good in this game and fixes a lot of Native aliasing. Anything below that at 1440p would start to have a negative impact. I know DLSS ultra perfect would look terrible so I already knew how bad FSR ultra performance would look.
@DwaynedaGamer In honesty I think the 7900xtx has the raster performance to just run 4k ultra ewith a decent HDR setup and look perfectly good. I'd rather push a higher resolution then drop to a lower one on the XTX just for the raytacing. Raytracing is great when you have the available overhead but I don't think you should drop settings to try to achieve it. Let's be honest Cyberpunk is starting to show it's age compared to modern games, so I'd still put resolution and textures before even worrying about RT. Whilst doing this recording I also felt like the XTX took a visual hit when enabling RT. I didn't expect that. I'm not sure if that's down to the heavy upscale being pushed harder or what would cause that. I expect that's probably what it was. Maybe at native resolution that wouldn't happen.
If you buy a 7900xtx or any AMD at that you should not be expecting path tracing in any way lol you have to degrade it to bad to where it's like whats even the point lmao….7900xtx= high fps and maybe some light rt…… not this lmao
