First time playing- I know I’m years late. An excellent game, this part was annoying but once you figure out how to aim the rats it makes it easier. Take it slow if you need to, pushing them farther from you each step you take.
I ragequitted the end of this fucking mission, what a disgrace is the way you control the fucking rats. You don't have any fucking clue how they actually fucking move.
Can not move the damn lantern to the right? Turn on Vsync and lower your FPS. Just another damn bug which still has not been fixed in 2021. SMH. #ThanksToSteamDiscussions for this one.
When hugo gets the power to control the rats I can't seem to do anything, I aim at the rats with left trigger, then pull the right at the same time but nothing happens, my vision does not clear and I can't move. Any idea?
It seems to be bluetooth controllers don't respond to this command on PC. Switched to keyboard and mouse and working fine in case anyone else has the same issue.
I am here just because at 32:00 it bugged for me and I couldn't rotate on the right side. I thought there is something else I'm missing, but I had to restart from the last checkpoint to get past that section. Definitely the worst chapter in the entire game, they can delete it and I wouldn't complain.
I'm in the same situation and it won't move to the right , i've tried from checkpoint and restarting the chapter too but it's the same problem, what should I do?
@@andrewmexico1574 i did a google, turn off vsync if on , use keyboard to turn all the way to left i think then try with controller. google had the answers
the final fight is actually so much bullshit. who tf decided that its a good mechanic? if not for the guide I would've quit the game honestly edit: its a high frame rate bug apparently, super stupid. SOLUTION: Set all graphics settings to the fullest, render scale at the highest your GPU can handle. I finished the section using only 1 portion of the rats!
thanks, man! that fucking insane... i got like 5 rats on the 3rd set of guards, but increasing Resolution Scale to 200% i got fucking army of rats. They should rename that parameter into "Amount of rats"
18:40 there’s a guard blocking the door who won’t move, spent an hour trying to get past him and every guide I’ve watched there’s no guard where mine is, is my game broken or is there a way around it
I think I need help with the this mission cause when I get Hugo upstairs their is two men and not one, a guard that is facing my direction that doesn’t move and I don’t know how to get passed the man

But the only thing that bothers me is this chapter, they want to make it seem like Vitalis is some kind of bad seed within the Church and they are trying to do something to stop it, and thereby clean up the image of the Catholic Church It is widely known that the inquisition was the policy of the Catholic Church to combat "heresy" and that is why it was carried out systematically in many countries. They were Nazis killing people who did not believe the same as them or obey their laws.
No, the Spanish Inquisition was more fair to heretics in comparison to most of the secular institutions of the time. Though by today's standards that doesn't say much. To compare them to Nazi Germany is to misunderstand both the Nazis and the Inquisition. But also Vitalis was practicing dark magical ritual pagan cult stuff, so not by the church's policy any way you spin it.
@@Kristofferheihei No. I eventually gave up because no one posted a fix anywhere I could find. I uninstalled and restarted check points. Hell I played the whole level again. I did not start a new game because I did not want to put in all that work for the same result. I am just going to watch then ending walkthrough and hopefully the next game will be made for PC with less bugs. Very big let down.

i don't understand how there're so many rats in the video, but in my game i have like 4 bloody rats that can't eat even 4th guard

Who seriously thought making a game where you would pretty much be forced to play along with a guide the whole game would be a good idea.
Why would Hugo be a guide? You are just trying to protect him.

After the 2nd set of guards there is no rats left to use. Buggy fucking trash game.

rats keep stop following in the middle and i gotta watch the dumb ass cutscene 20 times cuz start wont skip it.
Weird enough, even without any weapons, this was literally the easiest part to play so far

Does not work on PC cannot defend mother because all rats go for first three guards and cannot be reused. Anyone have a fix?

@@Move_My_Peeps we uncapped the fps by lowering graphics and stuff so it ran on over 200fps instead of 144. Worked for us
