  • Thoughts on different styles of tippers, some notes on fine tuning your grip, and a demonstration of a cheap “practice pad”
    I mention the "baby grip" style of holding the tipper, and that after many years of playing with my "pencil style" grip I am not particularly good at it.       There are a lot of options out there, and fortunately it can be pretty inexpensive to experiment with them till you find a style that really suits you

    Definitely helpful ideas bc with my skewer tipper its all scrape sounds... but not with my other ones
