Love the transpatent skinned bodhran. I was wondering whether a synthetic skin will give more of a snare/timbal or drumkit flavour to the playing which is what l am looking for more than a trad/goatskin sounding. I have two double skinned bods so l gues lm in the wrong direction😄😄

I haven't gotten to play a synthetic headed drum in a long time, since Remo used to make a fiberskyn one which was kinda meh, but Hedwitschak makes a really nice one, and one of the really cool things about it is that you can actually swap the heads out for different sound qualities! Matt Bell plays one and you can hear it in his videos, it seems to get a really nice "boing" when he bends notes.
