Thanks! The green cup is from the lid manufacturer (krakenreef.com/collections/red-sea-reefer-lids). With their lids you can pick up feeding cups as well that drop right down in their cut outs. Throw in a frozen cube or a bunch of pellets and the cup will ensure the food sinks into the water column instead of float at the surface and go immediately down the overflow.

You may be right on that. Typically in the past when I’ve gotten cryptophyte algae is seems to have more whitish clear hairs than what I have going on. We’ll see though, I’m just letting things ride for the moment.
I enjoy feeding my corals as well. Something about seeing them consume the food. 👏🏻🙌🏼👌🏻
