Flores didn't deny it. Tua has coach Mike now that treats him with respect and kindness. Mike went through old tapes to show Tua what he does well. Mike built back his confidence. 😊
Flores was angry at Ross and management because they didn't pick the quarterback he wanted in Jordan love. So he took out all his anger and frustrations out on TUA and try to sabotage his career. What no one wants to look at is the track team of weapons Tua had in Alabama -- Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle. All high 1st round draft picks. And several 1st round draft picks on the O-line. So Saban didn't have see the Tua that can't play without those elite weapons that Flores did. And Alabama plays in the SEC, meaning vs all warm weather stadiums. So there was no reason for Saban to yell at Tua at Alabama, because he didn't have to see Tua's limitations. Does anyone truly think that Tua would still be his QB or he would not have not been in Tua's face had Saban seen ANY of that? That's why McDaniel gave up a boatload of picks to get Tyreek Hill, and then traded or drafted another track team for Tua's weapons. He understood very clearly that without those, Tua would be the same old Tua Flores had. However, with the salary cap and Miami paying all that top money to those track team offensive weapons, they can't sign their top defensive players or even top talent OL players. They could not re-sign Christian Wilkins, Robert Hunt or Andrew Van Ginkel, etc. And that's BEFORE Tua's extension kicks in next seson.
