Flores was angry at Ross and management because they didn't pick the quarterback he wanted in Jordan love. So he took out all his anger and frustrations out on TUA and try to sabotage his career. You forget TUA was coached by Nick Saban who actually made a Miami dolphins player cry from his cutthroat coaching style. This has nothing to do with tough coaching this has to do with Flores demeaning TUA player and tell him he's no for 2 years straight. The evidence was overwhelming this why

Regardless of how you feel about the situation, there is no way Flores should have contacted Nick Saban to find out how to coach anything in the NFL. Saban was a complete failure as an NFL head coach, so much so that he sprinted back to the college ranks as soon as he could because he couldn't handle it. Arguably the best to ever do it in the NCAA ... not even close in the NFL.

SERIOUSLY people? First off, I love Tua, but…..
Regardless of what transpired between the 2, that should NEVER be brought to the public!! To those of you who say “well, he was asked” and such, why couldn’t he respond, “that’s between the two of us?”
I’m old school, born in Philla, and where I’m from, that noise doesn’t fly!!
What makes it harder for me to process, as a man of faith, is how Tua, who is wonderfully passionate about his faith, chose to bash on Flores publicly.
Whether his words are true (which I believe in his heart they are), you keep those conversations private, or better yet, don’t have them at all. What was gained by all this? Doesn’t change anything except make Flores look bad in many peoples’ eyes.
Sadly, this is certainly not one of Tua’s finest moments💯

What no one wants to look at is the track team of weapons Tua had in Alabama -- Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle. All high 1st round draft picks. And several 1st round draft picks on the O-line. So Saban didn't have see the Tua that can't play without those elite weapons that Flores did. And Alabama plays in the SEC, meaning vs all warm weather stadiums. So there was no reason for Saban to yell at Tua at Alabama, because he didn't have to see Tua's limitations. Does anyone truly think that Tua would still be his QB or he would not have not been in Tua's face had Saban seen ANY of that?
That's why McDaniel gave up a boatload of picks to get Tyreek Hill, and then traded or drafted another track team for Tua's weapons. He understood very clearly that without those, Tua would be the same old Tua Flores had.
However, with the salary cap and Miami paying all that top money to those track team offensive weapons, they can't sign their top defensive players or even top talent OL players. They could not re-sign Christian Wilkins, Robert Hunt or Andrew Van Ginkel, etc. And that's BEFORE Tua's extension kicks in next seson. Just imagine who they won't be able to keep next year and beyond with that massive cap hit sets in.
