I agree with you on Jerry but you'd still be working for the most famous and valuable NFL franchise. On top of that, despite the issues with Jerry, the Cowboys have been putting together 12-win seasons for the past 3 years. This year is a down year for sure, but the success has been there in the regular season at least... which is more than can be said for most NFL teams over the past 3 seasons. Other than the Bills, 49ers, Chiefs, Eagles, and Ravens, idk of many teams winning these many games in the past 3 seasons, and those teams have bigtime QBs, unlike the Cowboys. Imo it's still a very lucrative position.

Sean Payton went to a Broncos team that hadn't had a winning season since 2016. Jim Harbaugh went to Michigan, which was bad for the 3 years before he got there. Kyle Shanahan started coaching the 49ers when they were bad and had just gotten rid of Kaepernick. The Rams hadn't had a winning record since 2003, and the year before McVay got there they were 4-12... they'd gone through like 5 head coaches in 15 years. They were a disaster. None of these guys took the head coach jobs cause they saw a winning opportunity, most of these were actually positions on bad teams with years and years of recent bad management and play. So what coaches are you talking about? the only two guys great coaches who went to good situations were Mike Tomlin and Matt LaFleur.

Tomlin is my guy but he hasn't won a playoff game in forever, John Harbaugh has a 2-time MVP and the #1 defense and can't beat any team led by a top 5 QB (not since 2012 anyway).
