But what IS hard to understand is how some leaders just don't seem to understand that the best way to make the leader look good is to have their people make them look good! I was in the Army, FEMA, Fortune 500 and small businesses. In each instance, the best leaders get the best performance and then the best leaders get recogonized. What value is there is beating up people, relentlessly? The leader is going to go down with the people they've been beating down.
