@@marshallpowell3075 It was very good but I mean, for a smart elite quarterback who has been doing it for many years, its not "unreal". He wouldn't be in that position if he didn't have the talent, knowledge, and experience.

TOO KOO this game was not a good game..Tua make the second half comeback is the best thing this game has..that overtime is insane but USC vs Texas was the best ever national championship game
The title of video should be "Against all odds." A true freshman with only mop up duties the entire season was put on the biggest stage of his college career in front of millions and he prevailed. I have nothing against Jalen Hurts, but he gave up his starting position when he couldn't move the offense in a national championship game and had to be benched. Hurts followed up his poor performance in the natty with a worse performance in the Spring A-Day game in Tuscaloosa. Some folks are on here saying that Jalen is 26-2 and Saban like his quarterbacks to be game managers instead of a gunslinger like Tua. First of all, Jalen Hurts is not a game manager. A game manager distribute the ball to key players whether it's running or passing. Jalen targeted mostly one receiver Calvin Ridley for most of the season. The only other person who had significant catches was running back Bo Scarbrough. AJ McCarron was a true game manager who distributed the ball all over the field. Jalen Hurts is a one read only run QB. Saying that Hurts is a game manager is ridiculous. Tua is the true definition of a game manager.
At the 11:20 mark, the look on his face said it all. He wasn’t “shook” or worried at all. That’s when I said to myself, this kid is going to win the game.
He knew the next play was going to be a "stutter step and go", he said he needed more room to throw the ball that's why he took the sack, the thing that makes coaches Furious, ended up helping when the game, big ups to you tua.
I think it was this game that made the coaches realized that Tua is really accurate from 30 yards plus. Stop with the short passes go long with Tagavailoa.
At that interview with Tua and what he said at the beginning about God was the moment ESPN hated him… He is the man and is gonna have a breakout season .. Fins Up and GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!💯💕
I think for Bama fans that watched the games, Tua became famous during the blowout of Vandy. He did some things in that game that I had never seen anything like in a Bama jersey. But of course, the NC was awesome, too! (I know this is an old video, but i just came across it today.)
Bama fans knew that as soon as he committed to the Tide. Jalen struggled really bad the second half of this season and some fans were mad that they didn't put him in during the Auburn game.

NeNe G oh that nigga can throw Lmfaoo i see your point too now , that man is hell with that thing and its hard when your zleft handed and duel threat cause most plays are designed for rightly
marco aka the prince Cross preparing for a duel threat QB that can threaten all parts of the field is easier said than done. Yeah UGA would have had some tape on him an even if they did cover well his mere presence on the field would have been a distraction that opens up the running game. UGA would have still had their hands full with a more experienced less prone to mistakes natural passer.
NeNe G yup bama was well on its way to getting a BIG L the biggest L we've ever got, but the QB switch reversed the coming disaster and resulted in one of our biggest W's. Yeah Saban knew he had reached a fork in the road an knew which way he had to go, one road was certain doom the other road was a glimmer of hope so of course he chose the latter. And it's just recently been known that tua talked of transferring if he did not play in the next game so I'm sure that also influenced sabans decision to give tua a shot since we could only go up from there and there's no need of losing a talent like tua when he did deserve a shot to play in the game.
Maybe the most exciting 2nd half of a game I've ever seen and I'm 61 and go all the way back to the Kenny Stabler era. I'm sure The original Snake enjoyed watching Baby Snake. When you put video up of the two, their styles were very similar as was their passing deliveries. Before all the knee injuries, snake was a great passer and a Dangerous runner, just like Tua.

@@epicow_1973 you commenting over some a year ago 🤡, and I forgot to add led them to super bowl outplaying mahomes , and then the defense and refs sold lol ,, Saban was dumb taking him out Jalen would’ve still won that cuz the defense was lights out that second half and Ridley and jeudy was catching everything
@@fhoeschasepape idk about that last statement but ye.
As a bama fan I have to admit my heart was pumping every second of this game it was a game I will never forget this game fantastic game Georgia no doubt
Still , to this day , i get teary eyed when Tua stops the questions & thanks Jesus Christ & gives glory too God. He is a special man that did something special thatll live in Bama history forever
As a Bama fan watching this game live as it happened was a whirlwind of emotions. Watching this back brings so many amazing memories and a love for Bama football. I will never forget the amount of shirts that said #tuascaloosa after this game. Roll tide!
Im 35 and this guy is one of my role models. So humble and very talented.
Hawaii highschool football is underrated!, Come play us across the Pacific ocean and see what happens!, Go up against Waianae, Kahuku, St Louis and Milliani, and see what happens!.
So refreshing to see a humble star. I hope this kid has a long career
That was the best two play sequence I've ever witnessed. To give up such a disastrous sack then to throw a 50 yard rope to rip Georgias hearts out. Legendary
love watchin any poly make it professional sports... but damn the first QB to be killin it mad respect Tua..much love from the polys in the southern hemisphere!
nathan kiing Tua is only in college not professional. Marcus Mariota is in the pros and he's the Poly QB that's killin it
I like watching any white guy do well. Oh, wait...I forgot, it's racist to cheer for someone because they're white. That's only allowed for non-whites. My Bad! Never mind...poly power! Go poly go!!!!

Game winning pass was beautiful. I had chills. Roll Tide!!!!
Wow what a game and well done Alabama and Great game Tua well done uso ❤.. Lions fan here watching from Sydney Australia in 2023😂
the amount of raw emotion I experienced on the last 4 plays of the game (sack, field goal, sack, TD) was the greatest roller coaster I've ever been on! ROLLLL TIDE!
Big ups to you Tua for giving glory to God and recognizing your blessings. Stay with Him no matter what uso. Congratulations on an amazing game!
Amen!
"I'd like to thank my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ",

This guy was famous in hawaii and alabama, Now he famous everywhere.
Lol no one knew him in hawaii
@@randomeveryday3796 not true
RandomEveryday you idiot that’s where he is from🤦🏾♂️
@@randomeveryday3796 not fucking true man, he was the top recruited qb coming out of our state and played for st. louis. Everyone knew him
@@Kai_sozeexactly he is a casual coming from the aina, Tua was killing teams in hawaii in his sophomore year, and was already the best QB in high school camps in the mainland that same year, then won elite 11 the next year, He prolly only watches football, when its the Super Bowl and National Championships lol
I watched this game with a friend of mine who passed away 3 months later. Thank you for the upload. It brought back good memories that go far beyond sports.
That throw is iconic man, it's like he is stepping on the Bulldog's throat like a boss :)
No,Bama just stepped on their face with a hobnail boot and broke their nose!!!!!!!!!!!! Richard Rhoden
11:53 Quick moment of respect for the cameraman we lost. May he forever live on in our hearts
i saw it 🤣🤣 i feel so bad for that dude
😂😂😂😂
I was looking for this comment after watching again today lmao
If you listen in the interview. He was well prepared cover 2 and he looked off the safety . No fluke just a rifle for an arm.
The way he broke down what they had is unreal. How can you process all that so quick?
@@marshallpowell3075 It was very good but I mean, for a smart elite quarterback who has been doing it for many years, its not "unreal". That is a critical part of his job to make those judgments and adjustments quickly. They get faster through reading defense like thousands of times. He wouldn't be in that position if he didn't have the talent, knowledge, and experience.
Baron Rothschild he’s going to be a top qb in the nfl next year
One of the great coaching calls of all time - to have the courage to make that substitution at half time by saban -- credit where it's due.
I love Jalen Hurts being a class act throughout
You are a absolutely amazing young man Tua!!!! Your parents, couch Saben, and team must be very proud!! I know the fans are❤❤❤
Had to come watch this after yesterday's comeback win vs ravens.
he's always had that FIRE in him. had to go back and watch this too. he's the truth!
That last play was literally the best moment of my life 😂
I'm sorry
I never get tired watching that final play. Amazing. Another Alabama Football legend is made.
I still cannot fathom how this man missed a 36 yarder........A 36 YARDER!!!
Dadrian Johnson not missed - butchered
that was a +tyangel is correct that was a slaughtered kick if i've ever seen one.
Dumb for Saban to play for the fg imo

To watch Tua remain calm after that last play loss to go on and throw with confidence. That’s epic
Honest this about the 50th time I've watched this adrenaline pumped roll tide!👍

Ive watched this game 20 times and and it never gets old
i loved when he said “i thanked my lord and savior jesus christ “💯💯
Why would you love that? He might as well said, “I love Santa Claus.” Same difference, and it’s just as stupid. How can you be alive in 2018 and still believe in a god? I guess people like you explain how a fucking moron like trump got elected...
@Papa Bear Spaghet - spoken like a true Christian.
@Manu Edmonds - while I agree that his initial ridicule was completely out of place and we're all free to believe what we want, he has that same right as well. Yet you completely contradict your message by assuming and then ridiculing his beliefs. "Big bang believing idiot"?
You can believe things like that until the day you die, but dismissing well-founded, evidence-based scientific theories that perfectly piece together decades of scientific knowledge unearthed from people smarter than you or I could ever hope to be, and who dedicated their lives to furthering our collective understanding of the universe will never win you any smart guy awards.
Same bro God before sports
Jacob Taylor lol fuck his beliefs and his life..he makes fun of our beliefs then we make fun of his.
People in the NFL forget Tua has a rocket of an arm not just the delicate touch. Can't wait to see that arm given the license to run free when he gets decent receivers.
It's time!!!!! Phins up!
My Uso had me jumping in my seat. Much Alohaz to you "Tua" and your career. Makua O' Kalani is good!
Kauilani Waiwaiole wai wai??? Same Waiwai I drill with?? Lmao
chaserGB what?
Kauilani Waiwaiole nothing thought I knew you. I know someone with your name. It’s not a common name for me to see. Lol
Kauilani Waiwaiole waiwaiole, we call him WaiWai
Ta'amu is good, hails from Pearl City High. Mckenzie Milton plays for UCF, hails from Miliani High school. They're all good QBs from Hawaii and we are all proud of them. We watched all of them in high school. Ta'amu even played against my alma mater Kapaa High on Kauai. Very proud of all Hawaii Athletes that go on to the college level. IMUA NA KANAKA!
This game is like top 3 most electric bama games I've ever seen. Watching this I'm reliving the absolute angush of him getting sacked, and the euphoria that came when he looked of the safety and torched GA on the next play. LOVE this kid.
It is truly great to be a Bama fan!! My father is from Tuscaloosa! Wow!!!!!!!!
Greatest game ever since USC VS TEXAS....GOOD GAME
Don't even bring that game up lol
TOO KOO as a bama fan this game was an emotional rollercoaster but I'm glad I can laugh about it now😂 lol it was one for the age's no doubt!
TOO KOO this game was not a good game..Tua make the second half comeback is the best thing this game has..that overtime is insane but USC vs Texas was the best ever national championship game
Ohio state vs bama ? Zeke going crazy ?
As a Bama fan I have to say I liked 2016 championship against Clemson
I AM SO SO GLAD WE FINALLY HAVE A KICKER THAT DOESN'T MISS.
It’s cool looking back and seeing how these players professional careers are playing out.
so many good players
Ridley, Devonte Smith, and Jerry Judith all on the same team!.... sheeesh
Can not get enough of this.... THE CRIMSON TIDE WILL NOT BE DENIED !!!
Beautiful Giving all the credit and glory to Jesus! The kid is talented, #1 overall 2020!
Tua is the true definition of a game manager.
courther amen amen 💯
So coach, a year later in the SEC Championship, what would you say about Hurts have to clean up the mess TUA couldn't.
Rob Johnson Jalen had a bad game in the national championship game 🤡 and tua stepped up. people have bad games dumbass.
At the end of the game Saban told Tua “why did you take a 16 yard sack?” And Tua respond “so I have more room to throw the ball.” 😳
The legend is only getting started. His talent is stunning.
the Rook throws a pick. He gets right back up and get to work, THATS SAVAGE!!!!!
This game still brings tears to my eyes. So much talent. RTR!
At the 11:20 mark, the look on his face said it all. He wasn’t “shook” or worried at all. That’s when I said to myself, this kid is going to win the game.
Titus. I saw the same look of confidence. I was confused at first, but I understood after the throw.
He knew the next play was going to be a "stutter step and go", he said he needed more room to throw the ball that's why he took the sack, the thing that makes coaches Furious, ended up helping when the game, big ups to you tua.
I thought the same exact thing
I think it was this game that made the coaches realized that Tua is really accurate from 30 yards plus. Stop with the short passes go long with Tagavailoa.
A refreshing humble attitude from the young man....... in a game full of self gratifying knob jockeys.
This game taught me..watch until the end. I was too anxious to see what happened and missed out on a great moment in AL football history.
Humble. I'm a supporter. Much props toko.
The whole Polynesians watching and supporting Tua and all became an Alabama fans for that specific game!! 💪🏾😎🇦🇸🇼🇸🇦🇸
He is phenomenal!!! So humble!!
Many don’t realize that he’s one of the greatest High School QBs in Hawaii History
Bama fans knew that as soon as he committed to the Tide. Jalen struggled really bad the second half of this season and some fans were mad that they didn't put him in during the Auburn game.
Marcus Mariota is the greatest
I’m back to watching this Gem in 11 December 2023 a day before Tua takes the Field and take on the Titans on Monday Night Football! Roll Tide & PhinsUp !
Not many QB video can hit a million view in less then a year since winning the national championship game that's how popular this Tua kid is
That game winning pass was fun to watch
11:53 feel sorry for that camera man lol
He deserved it, always check both ways before crossing.
Jonathan LMAO
LMAO
Isaiah Tupou 😂😂😂😂
Isaiah Tupou aha the one came thru and they ran his Muli(ass) over? lmao. thought I was the only one spotted that. when that's the first person I was looking at running. ahaha
Prayers to Tua. Crazy how similar the sack at 11:34 looked compared to tonight.
Agreeed!!
He needs to learn to throw that thing away lol still no denying his talent dude is insane. Pure X factor in him just hope he stays safe
NEVER gets OLD!!!! Roll Tide Roll!!!
What a game! I thought I was having a heart attack the people I was with called 911 and I was hyper venting. I will never forget that game as long as I live! Tua & 26. Roll Tide Roll!
I saw this kid in their spring game before that season. I believed he should have been in there over hurts the entire season and I knew if he came in the game, he was gonna make it close. I did NOT expect that perfect bomb in OT though, that was insane.
Decemburrrrrr if he starts the whole season , Georgia Would have been prepared ,. It's called game preparation not jalen hurts not being good
NeNe G umm yeah they game planned to stop jalen hurts that would make sense ? Add me on ig or something I eanna debate
What an incredible come back, now Tua is gonna b able 2 make it happen 4 Miami, hopefully very soon...
Still as awesome to watch today as it was the first time.
Still gives me goose bumps...beautiful! ROLL TIDE!!!
Omg that game never gets old.
I personally think that td throw to Calvin was the best throw and catch in all of cfb national championship history
