From what it looks like they used FSU’s overestimation on trying to cover Lamar that they left the running back opening for some big explosive plays and holes to run through. After that they just kept second guessing themselves and never were able to stop the RPO - it was just non-stop attacks from the Cards.

@@SeminoleSpaceForce yeah it’s crazy, when you losing bad like 41-9, there should be 0 celebrating. What you celebrating about? The world is also so blessed to be witnessing the great Lamar Jackson. You guys at Louisville saw it first. So happy for joy Lamar Jackson is about to bring upon his return! He has done your University and city proud as it's first ever Heisman Trophy winner and the first unanimous NFL MVP! CONGRATULATION!!👏👏👏
Lamar Jackson is the only dude in pro sports who jukes you out from 10 yards... Incredible athlete.
so far out, because he has to adjust for his speed, its like he is running 90mph.
It was the spin move for me. I remember this game and it was a jaw dropping moment
I swear
I wish they’d retitle this video “the time Louisville blew up FSU” bc the entire Cards showed up that day. Lamar always been great and his presence on the field alone opens up play for everyone around him.
True, however Lamar is going into the NFL HOF as one of the best to ever do it. Like Brady, Jordan, Bird, Magic, Marino, etc. His college teammates understand. They'll be bragging to their grandchildren about how Grandaddy caught a touchdown from Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson is the best college player I’ve ever seen granted I’ve been watching since 09, derrick henry cam newton Jayden daniels christian mccaffery too
As a Florida state fan, I wish we had Lamar Jackson for our quarterback. But we’ve beatin Louisville more times then I can count except that one time. And good for Lamar. His talent is carrying over in the NFL. He’s doing great. Good for him. And this year, my fsu stinks. Hope they get better again in the future.
This was definitely one of the biggest “where were you when” moments for college football in recent history. FSU was so (over) hyped, this was an unprecedented blowout. Nobody saw it coming. If you didn’t know who Lamar Jackson was, you knew his name after this game!
Like when lsu Shreveport beat bama
One of the first games I ever really watched other than Michigan v OSU and it was because I was drunk at a party at 1am in Australia now I'm a huge CFB fan and can't get enough of all things NFL CFB. Thanks Lamar 😍
This game reminds me of Damian Lillard's GW versus OKC, only in the way that this was so brutal that it literally broke the program's back (FSU)
i remember watching this game live , and it’s easily one of the most dominating performances i’ve ever witnessed
As a Kentucky fan I hated Lamar Jackson until I saw an interview with him. I was impressed at how nice and humble he was. I've been a fan of his ever since.
I mean, these are elite level college athletes and Lamar Jackson makes them look silly
He does that to the pro's too. They said it was gonna be different in the pro's. They LIED.
On god this Louisville team was stacked looking back at it now
@@beet2572
We had it good back then! 😉
All that just too loose to Houston 😭
@@Goyarxrd
After beating the brakes off Houston HOW MANY TIMES? 🙄
You don't win every game you play, every year. Ask ALABAMA.
This Louisville team was a cheat code
They lost the last 3 games that year and went 9-4
Same famous touchdown run in the NFL ..
I know right! Same exact touchdown where he darts across the middle!!
@@dsetgetatme it’s amazing how he is literally shitting on any scout like ever they all thought this wouldn’t translate …. LOL
My two time mvp was soo skinny in college❤❤❤ he def has meat on those bones these days!
You can learn so much from just this video. Deception is key when running. Hard to tackle if people don't know where you are going. Helps to turn on a dime too. Textbook.
Remember when Lamar actually had a competent receiving corps in college? Not that he doesn’t now, but this was definitely better than he had last year.
Man this receiving Corp wasn’t even all that good if we’re being honest they had major dropping issues each season Lamar was there the difference is his receivers in college could get open consistently and the route concepts as a whole were just much better compared to what the ravens got them boys running I watch the ravens wrs run into each other atleast twice a game 😭
@@LP-wm3ey that’s true though. Actually hilarious when it happens lol.
@@LP-wm3ey he had 2 all acc wrs they didn’t pan out in the nfl but they were very good you see how bad the wr core was the next season when James quick left lol
Imagine if Lamar had his favorite tight end go down with an injury and then he grts a rookie named Zay Flowers, OBJ gets traded to the Ravens, some kid named Likely of all names starts doing one handed catches and the Ravens D is doing Ravens D things. Hell, maybe Lamar even wins a 2nd MVP amd a SuperBowl against the 49ers with Flowers as the SuperBowl MVP
Props to Lamar and the L for this litness. also, I love watching old games just to see the tracker... like looking for my team to see how much they won by, ya know?
I like how in the early going they didn’t just go straight to Lamar’s running ability. From what it looks like they used FSU’s overestimation on trying to cover Lamar that they left the running back opening for some big explosive plays and holes to run through.
After that they just kept second guessing themselves and never were able to stop the RPO - it was just non-stop attacks from the Cards.
Bobby runs a very complex offense anyways
Big time Cards Fan! Most exciting football season for us was that year. 0ne win away for playing for the national championship! Lamar will be a hero in this city 4-EVER!
I can watch Lamar and Tebow all day. These two have so much determination in their game.
They scored in just about every way. Just imagine if they could have finished with a 60 or 70 yard pick six that would have been lit as hell 🔥!!!!!!
“Big arm with accuracy!”
Madden 21: accurate throw on the run “misses the receiver “
Bro..shit just happen to me last night on a wide open cross route to brown.smfh..made me over throw it 5 feet into a pick 6😳
@@musicman4827 😂😂same here they do lamar Jackson dirty in madden n dude the front cover
I can’t use him in Madden everything floats and way off
@@kysheemb use the right stick to direct your passes...then hes on point 90% of the time..he actually gets unstoppable once you get it down pat..STRAIGHT DOTS all day
This was literally the beginning of the end for this entire program
Lamar & Louisville made a huge statement for their program with this performance, with the *NOLES* in town! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Been a fan since they drafted lamar ill be honest i didnt follow college ball for a while but i was excited to see what he had to give and just thought to see his old highlights for once to see where things started before nfl
As a Gator fan these were the noles that kept beating our a$$, if we couldn’t beat em then at least I got to watch this awesome game and laugh, thank you for this Lamar!
😅😅😅
I think you speak for a lot of Gator fans on that day.
You had your time with tebow for like 4 years we got smashed by the Gators it wasnt even a competition it was pretty pathetic lol..
You're the type of fan I love.
You're me except you weren't raised right, so you like the wrong team.
I also take pleasure in watching the Gators or any rival lose, especially if it's in embarrassing fashion.
Good luck to our schools this year fam!

😅🤣😆🤣😅🤣😆😂
@@SeminoleSpaceForce yessir I cant wait! Hopefully Norvell can get yall back to the top because football is just better when both our teams are great!
This game made me hate Louisville more than the hurricanes & gators combined. This one hurt more than that Oregon lost in the playoffs. Lamar and this squad was the truth ✊🏿💯
It’s going to happen again this year in the ACC championship game ✊🏻

Oh okay, let’s see how well this ages. 😈
@@OEF0311 like pungent Fromunda cheese on your taint 🤣
If a new NCAA game comes out we need this game as like a “Moments” game mode, kinda like in the old madden lol
Lamar was special in college. That heisman year he came to us at UH and even though they lost, we respected him in the student section
It still baffles me how brandon radcliff never got a true shot at the nfl
Thats what i was thinking as I was watching this
Never saw him before this game…. I remember seeing him cut back twice within 3 yards of eachother…. I said to myself “this bout to be a long day”
One of the most electrifying games I’ve witnessed
Love how on the last Florida st TD, number 9 runs up to 18 to hype him up! And 18 is like “dude chill TF out, we getting whooped by more than 7 touchdowns”
🤣😂 I saw that too
That's back when at least some of our players had some pride and self respect.
Lately these clowns have been celebrating hard hits on players who still manage to score touchdowns.
Like what's the use of a hard hit if the guy still scores freaking loser lol.
Tough times, tough times...
@@SeminoleSpaceForce yeah it’s crazy, when you losing bad like 41-9, there should be 0 celebrating. What you celebrating about? You getting whooped, and that TD you got, most likely only happened because the defense let up, and is playing protection now since they have the win. That is why a lot of time a team will be losing bad, and all of a sudden in the last two minutes they score. Then people ask”where was that all game?” Um… the defense was playing defense all game that’s what happened lol you scored at the end because they not only playing deep protection, so giving you all the close passes, but most the starters are now out, and on the bench lol
Man this game was such a big deal for the city of Louisville. They had Gameday that morning for the first time EVER. The entire game was a huge dedication to Muhammad Ali before he passed. Best day of Louisville football in my life 🔥
Lamar is him.
Never since Vince Young, have we seen domination like this from a QB...superb!
Florida state ain't been the same since this day
Lamar Jackson was one of the rare occasions where their presence literally carried an entire team.
one of the coldest games I ever remember watching. Lamar is the truth.
I remember watching this in a restaurant at Disney land. Great memory and an insanely fun game to watch. College Lamar was just different
This was so surprising and not surprising all at the same time as an auburn fan we got to be the first team to play and beat Lamar in college as a freshman but I knew FSU would struggle with him if he grew over the years and then boom he kicked they ass on TV
9:09 has to be the smoothest spin in history.
He was incredible. I’m a UK fan and although I’m glad he fumbled and lost verse us that year, he was so fun to watch!
Who the fuck cares about UK?
@@fivehundrediq5212 😭
He got revenge the next season.
Lamar vs Kensucky
2-1
I watched this shit live. Damn 2016 was a great year for CFB.
Just when you reach that point in the game where you feel like they’re going to let up - they pour it on. Crazy!!
Nothing sucks more than being a Louisville and Steelers fan hearing Lamar is being drafted by the ravens. My dad was in shambles over that.
As a FSU fan, this was a nightmare. I remember it like it was yesterday.
