I just relived complete Alsace as almost thirty years ago, by visiting this beautiful blog. Strasbourg, Colmar, Niederbronn-les-Bains, the costumes, dances and songs, came alive in my soul and spirit making me feel younger than ever. I used to feel this magic in Boston when Filenes Basement was opened. It obviously wasn't as vast but Jordan Marsh, Filenes and the other stores in Downtown Crossing were beautifully decorated around Christmas 🤎
This reminds me of my childhood in Vienna, recalling the delightful Christmas markets, the beautiful buildings and decorations, there is just something infinitely magical about it all! What cleanliness, so much love and workmanship has gone into creating a truly fairy-tale like atmosphere! One can't help but feel as though one has just stepped into a land of magic. Thank you! I'm sitting here, with a huge smile and can't pull myself away! What a wonderful experience! I'm grateful to have been allowed to step into a land of enchantment and away from everyday worries.

I used to feel this magic in Boston when Filenes Basement was opened. It obviously wasn't as vast but Jordan Marsh, Filenes and the other stores in Downtown Crossing were beautifully decorated around Christmas 🤎
