I'm really happy you're going to use all the LEGO modular sets in your city. It's great to see everything clean and organize in your barn! How exciting it'll be to finish some of those older projects; your skyscraper section looks AWESOME!
Thanks, it has been long overdue for a good cleaning. Still more to do but the majority is done now and Im thrilled.
Skyscrapers have always been my biggest passion for building, so I had to make a special section for them.
I think that is the cleanest I’ve ever seen the barn. Looks great. So much more space with the smaller tables too.
Its the cleanest it has been scince I moved all my stuff in lol. Now to just keep it this way.

Yeah the Barn is bigger than a lot of peoples houses. So glad I was able to build it before all the insane inflation. Would hate to see what it would cost now. As for the backlog lmao we wont talk about that 🤣 😂 😅 😭

WOW: Amazing changes & I tend to agree with using the modulars or maybe like 2-3 of a modular into a big version of itself!
I use to double the size of all my modular buildings, but with the small city feel I am after I think the buildings will be more subtle changes like adding rear and roof details and lights
Can’t wait to get the Jazz Club sign. What a great addition to one of my favorite modules!
Also looking forward to buying the working traffic signals. I have the perfect intersection to start with.

Thanks, as for the sign Im looking for suppliers to make the parts affordable, my end plan is to make a video showing people how to do it themselves and sell the tubing by the foot :)

Thanks Jason, yeah controlled chaos is a great way to explain it lol. As for the sign my biggest problem is trying to find a reasonable price for the tubing in a large quantity. My goal is to make a video showing anyone how to do it and just sell the tubing by the foot to make it reasonable for people to use if possible. The tubing Im using for this I paid $2 a foot and I know there has got to be a cheaper way to get it 😅
Looking good buddy. Glad your getting stuff organized and back to enjoying the hobby. I think your city will look great with the modulars mixed in. It all comes down to what your happy with and that is what matters. Definitely looking forward to seeing what ever videos you decide to make.

Love it, just a tip, maybe add a motion sensor to your barn door and add some smart lights that when you open the door your lights comes on automatically, love your channel;

Hey Steve, yeah it was long over due to get it organized. My goal was to get it back in order before this winter as I plan to spend a lot of time working on new ideas over the winter.
I wasn't in a hurry for it. Money has been very tight. My car is in for some required rust repair around the windshield that's going to cost me at least a grand but it would have started leaking inside the car.@@BevinsBricksWorld

Love it man. We have similar space and went with a double main around the wall layout. Not using full buildings, just 1/4 depth fronts. This allowed for very open area in the middle.
Thats a great way to build for a home layout. Gives you the depth and character without having to use a ton of parts.

You gotta do you brother. There are plenty of things to keep people occupied on RUclips while we wait for the GREAT CONTENT from you! I always found all your content GOOD, but I like stuff like this and would consider this GREAT. I am so proud of how far you have come on your wiring and boards and other electronic setups that you have made for LEGO parts. Honestly it's unbelievable Brother. The ideas that you have come up with, and your ability to offer the same features as other companies but smaller, better, and at more than 60% off their cost? I mean come on brother, you basically just pointed at all their customers and said "Hey you. Yeah You, come here. Get Over Here!" HAHAHAHA. Yeah Bro, I can be patient for the GREAT content, and to know that your finding your Happy again minus the stress, you ain't even owe us an explanation. LEGO is a hobby, a passion, a toy... FIRST. Sure some folks enjoy making it their Full time thing, but I don't think that LEGO channels are making ANY RUclipsrs millions, or really enough to even quit their Primary employment, but I suppose I could be wrong, there might be one or two out there, but I don't know em. I would suppose you do it for love, and at the height of LEGO Channels on RUclips, I'd suppose you can get a good amount of money from YT and hope for the LAN from Lego in order to save your LEGO cost by getting free review sets, but at the end of the day, with the cost of LEGO to buy and be able to make these videos, the markup is just so high, and it really I would think just covers the cost of the LEGOs themselves, lol. Maybe I am wrong, maybe not, Your the RUclipsr, you tell me! lol.
You have definitely hit nail on the head. People see you have subscribers and that you get decent views and think wow hes making tons and these same people get nasty and demanding. Thinking well this is his job. The reality is no, as the income doesnt even cover what I spend on parts. If youtube was my only income, it doesnt even cover my utility bills. It would be great to make it a full time gig like some others have. But you need insane views to really make good money with it.

Great job! Cleanest I have seen it since I first subscribed. Looks amazing, and as always it's an inspiration to the rest of us! Also, that control board for the traffic lights looks great, looking at the component layout, it looks very robust.

Looks really good. Oh I really like that jazz club sign and definitely will be picking one of those up. You could mage something similar in a blue color that can run behind or along the edge of the video board on the daily bugle.
Love the idea on doing that to the daily bugle, I want to try it on a few buildings

Dont know that I ever will do them again. If I did it would be very rare. The big problem being all my computer gear is now positioned wrong for streaming.

Oh thats not good, I havent bought anything from there in months. With the large quantities I usually get Im finding its usually best directly from Lego.
The entire reason I subbed was because your modifications are reasonable to follow, more sets means more content thats appliable by casual AFOLs.

2:51 You can use the expensive mils roads at the skyscraper table and the cheaper ones at the big table (it would make the skyscraper buildings look better)
I was thinking that, also debating using black for the roads as it would make the lines pop more.
@@BevinsBricksWorld I think gray looks great! Just make sure to add details like cracks and dents in the road just like the roads and sidewalks on timesquare
Some road decay is a must of course :) need a construction crew as well

Can your traffic light module handle more than 1 intersection?
Thanks, as for the module it could handle I would say 2 max but in order to keep the size small all my calculations to make it were for 1 intersection as the more lights you add I would need to add larger components and more resistors and such to handle the load. My goal was to make something small enough to be easy to use and buildable into a mils plate.

I always wanted to ask: What's with all the merch (Star Wars etc.) that's on display like in a shop? You don't sell in the barn, right? So, is it just a cool way of storing those items?
Its an inexpensive way to display all the stuff I have collected over the years. My goal with my barn was to get all the stuff I had in boxes for the last 20 years out on display where I can see it any time I wanted and I have always been a huge Star Wars fan :) 😀 not a store, but I do like the store feel it has.

I love the modular buildings. But always tried to stay away from sets as a lot of people feel that everyones city looks the same when you use the sets.
Carnt wait to get the jazz club. First of I'm getting Ninjago markets in two weeks. then the new temple 😊.....and the old fishing shak then book shop ..for my city only due to haveing so Manny other moduler and set s to get .add .slowly getting .what I need. And catching up ..lots of set s I not need in last few munth so bean catching up on geting sets from last few years I need at great price on face book sale page ..saved over $600 on about 6 set most I got at half price 😊👌💥..an pic up a BNSF Locomotive and Santa Fe brand new in boxe s for $500 guy seed he could of sold them for $1000 Australian Doller plus ..but give them to me for $500 hundred Australian dollers 😊👌💥..score of the century.. mayo seed
