  • Nothing in the context of the-elite community is as celebrated or prestigious as an Untied World Record - that being, when you are the only person with a record at least 1 full second ahead of everyone else. Some of these last only a day, a week, a month, but some last a lot longer. Here are the Top 5 GoldenEye 007 World Records which stood untied the longest!

    Before I watch this I just wanna say... Goose, thanks for getting me back into Goldeneye. I'm moving out of my childhood home in the next few weeks, point is that I found my N64 and my brother's copy of Goldeneye. After watching a bunch of your videos it inspired me to "complete" the cartridge before we leave this place and unlock all the cheats we missed as kids. Nowhere near on the same level as Speedrunning the game but I've had so much fun beating all the targets for each level and I got a lot of motivation and plenty of useful tips from watching your content, so thanks for inspiring a little bit of family history!
    Keep up the amazing work mate, stay true!

    0/72 is absolutely unbelievable.
    Specifically, since it's a binomial distribution with 11.76% of success (2/17), the odds are exactly .0121969% that 72 runs would complete without a single success. That's mind boggling.
    Anyway, great vid Goose. Happy Easter m8.

      Since Pokemon is the universally understood RNG metric...
      -That's slightly _less_ likely than encountering a shiny in Pokemon (1/8192).
      -That's 54 times _less_ likely than encountering a *very rare* Pokemon on any given step in tall grass (1.25 / 187.5)
      -That's 128 times _less_ likely than catching a level 70 Mewtwo at full hp and no status ailment with a *regular* Pokeball (1.567%).
      -That's 362 times _less_ likely than failing to catch a level 1 Pidgey at 1 HP with a regular Pokeball (4.419%).

    How about... Top 5 easiest world records to tie? Okay, might sound a bit boring on the surface, but if you also look a little bit into the history of those levels and do some speculation on how hard it would be to untie them, it could be a very interesting video. It'd also showcase what levels a newbie speedrunner might want to focus on if their goal is to get their first tied world record.

    the reason the fr failed after 72 attempts is because it isnt truely random. since every run is pretty much the same thing it is likely that the rng number was often close to the same (in the rng order) and none or a small amount of them that are close get the wanted output. marks slapping moved it much furhter from the rng value that normally comes out

  • @Camp_Dogs
    @Camp_Dogs 7 лет назад

    hello champion, ive got a challenge for you... have you ever completed the entire game WITH 100% accuracy every level??
    I started a new game last night and yes you can shoot the lock off the gate on dam and it doesnt count as a miss haha...still says 100%
    hopefully it counts with the cameras and stuff on other levels too.
    anyway by the time i reach silo on agent you will probably have done the entire game on 00 agent 😂😂
    love ya videos mate!

    • @Camp_Dogs
      @Camp_Dogs 7 лет назад

      do each level, add all your times together each time you finish a level and thats your final time.
      This could start a whole different ranking system haha would bring all the accurate shooters a chance to go up against the best speed runners.

    • @Camp_Dogs
      @Camp_Dogs 7 лет назад

      Actually wait thats way too easy for you... for another challenge, if you want to step things up a bit,
      finish the entire game in a speed run on any difficulty without missing a single bullet (100% accuracy)
      Level Restarts are not allowed, dont worry about unlocking all cheats
      and obviously the difficulty restricts the last levels but thats ok...

    • @Camp_Dogs
      @Camp_Dogs 7 лет назад

      RWhiteGoose i meant to say adding all your times together for each level (for the final result) would give you a chance to restart any level as many times as you like until you have your best times to make the total...
      but if you try speed run the whole game without missing a single bullet and timer goes from start to finish thats far more difficult.
      I would actually pay to see someone accomplish that in 00 agent. Its probably never been done ever.
      Thats the world champion of the game right there.
      Maybe it sounds stupid to you. i just like watching the impossible be done haha

    • @Camp_Dogs
      @Camp_Dogs 7 лет назад

      RWhiteGoose thats a hard one because i said id pay to see it done.
      but now im curious... how long would you call an "attempt"
