Hello everyone, my name is Anthony Cris and I'm the proud owner of a new food delivery service called Local Eats Delivery . The reason for starting the business was after 34 years of myself being in the restaurant industry. Now calling Lakeland home I can't believe what the national delivery companies are doing to the restaurant industry. They claim they are helping them by having them on their platforms but in reality. They are hurting a great deal of them. My vision is clear. Help the restaurants save money also helping the consumer save money on their fees that they pay to these companies (jacked up menu prices plus fee after fee after fee. With us there is only one delivery charge that our drivers will get to keep 98% of. The growing trend for these companies is down to almost .50 cents a mile to their drivers while they pocket the rest off the top in the apps. Restaurants are closing at record pace these days even faster now then when COVID hit. Prices are soaring and places would rather close than make you pay 50% more for your meals and then factor in the cost of minimum wage going up to $20 in some places. The average for one fast food chain meal costs $24 on these apps now. So why not use us and save you and the restaurant from fees and help pay our drivers for bringing you your meals.
