Indian families are used to only the daughter sacrificing in all aspects. not just her dreams, once she gets married the onus is on her to keep the relationship alive against all odds. so she is the only one to compromise. nobody will even bat an eyelid for her .

@@buddhapiyao1315What nonsense. She had to help her father as the eldest. Even if she's born a man, she would have done the same thing as a son.

Actually, having the air conditioned will add a lot of extra expenses. Maintaining an air conditioned room from morning till night everyday will be very expensive. Most restaurants will need to make the menus pricier afterwards to cover the costs, and that may result in loss of customers who are accustomed to the cheaper price.

Please retain the rustic charm and the authenticity of the place. Not everything needs to go to the air-conditioned way. Install more fans, make it less warm, manage fumes and heat from your kitchen so that it makes the place less stuffy and warm.
If you have air-con, it cools the fish head curry very quickly. Not a good idea as it changes the taste and flavour of your dish. Food is your restaurant's blood and soul. I hope you realise that you have a very good loyal following of customers and you do not have to worry about the younger crowd as long as your food is good and you continue to innovate your food. Innovate food to capture the younger crowd.

Shrikanth Raman Happens to Indian women in most circumstances. I didn’t state that she should be taking decisions unilaterally. It’s clear from the video that she engages in deliberation, which is a good leadership skill. Hence, there is no reason that a final decision still has to be made by the patriarch of the family.

Peter Aremone It is obvious your ability to observe and articulate is below that of a goat. If all you can do is type away the word ‘moron’ without so much as to understand why when nothing suggests the reason for your anger, then it’s clear you’re an empty head.
      Anger management issues=stupidity=failure.

@@ash_mash7602 Species inequality. Why are you using "goat" as some sort of indication of one's lack of ability?

I have not eaten before. It is an expensive dish that only high SES can afford. The place is also best accessible by cars.

Wow, good to see that many staffs are still working there as it was my regular joint. In the past his nephew was also helping to run the restaurant but left, to set up his own at one of the streets
( Verasamy Road ? ) in Little India.
Loved their masala chicken, fried fish cutlet snd fried mutton.

So many comments are ignorant and wrong. Most people stubbornly and *incorrectly* insist that obesity is due to overeating. Not true - it's triggered by a hormone imbalance. The hormones to control hunger and satiety are not working correctly in obese people because of which they eat more. When the hormones are fixed they eat normally and shed the excess weight. It's not about will power so don't judge overweight people. Ask them to see a doctor about their hormones.

A lot of those hormones are found in fat. So more fat stimulates even more fat deposition

Don't fix something that's not broken. Keep the AC out and keep prices reasonable or low. Lots of f and b businesses will renovate and AC the whole restaurant but jack up prices. A famous laksa shop did that in katong. Not too wise. Business dropped.
