Listening to Nolly going through these samples is like listening to a fine wine / whisky connoisseur expertly guiding you through a tasting. I could listen to you for hours :)
At this point, I just buy everything GGD puts out, almost instantly. I saw the email for the one-shots, clicked the link, and was out $35 before even hearing a single sample. The boys don’t miss, they’re like the Fromsoftware of plugins. Quality + consistency = trust. Thank you GGD. Anyways, now to watch this video and see what I just purchased lol
Has anybody used these samples on an e-kit? As a download to SD card, not ran through any DAW. would kill to be able to download GGD samples and integrate them into the module instead of running midi. I’ve bought nearly every pack GGD has. They NEVER disappoint. Buying the one shots today. Appreciate the content Nolly and GGD fam I love every single one of you 🤙🏼🤘🏼
Time for an Amp Sim now, please!! Would love a Misha Mansoor amp sim that offers all of Horizon device’s built in the sim, and many other pedals he used back in his early bulb days and current ones now he used on P4-P5
This pairs so perfectly with the Brutal kit, such a nice pingy, punchy sound! Just wish the Brutal’s China sounded more washy. It’s too dry in my opinion.
Awesome to see some oneshots samples at a good price point. Drumforge samples prices went horribly high (almost double the price) with no sustentation, also most of them are giberish
You could probably just use a sampler and copy paste the midi. Bitwig Studio also has its own built in "Replacer" plugin for converting audio to midi (to trigger your sampler with the one shots).
Yeah, so far nothing has really hit that HLB/Allt drum sound that I want. I've got plenty of options for more natural sounding kits, but I want that ridiculous explosive over-the-top sound with having to route multiouts and use a bunch of external fx and layering etc. Maybe someday we'll get a One Kit Wonder: Buster Odeholm or Mick Gordon.
My wish was either you upgraded Modern and Massive with more cymbals and snares or maybe a OKW for more heavy indie/shoegaze kinda music ala hundredth' Rare album
@@alfonsalenius2482 Well, my question was more complex than that; in professional audio (music production), recording at 48kHz doesn't make much sense unless it's for DVD or similar purposes. But from what I understand, music (the samples in this case) that will be pitch-shifted will benefit from a higher sample rate.

I'll always support Nolly, Misha and the boys. They inspired us, and then they also gave us tools to help us with our inspiration. Incredible.
Quality and consistency like the years it took to fix Smash and Grab. ;o)
@RayFerretti that was a low blow, but you're right 😅
- 'hopefully that sounds good'
- sounds the best thing I listened in my life
I just love hearing Nolly talk about this stuff!
Nobody is gonna talk how gorgeous these glasses are? ok, i will
he's upgraded from path tracing to proton tracing
GGD are just gods ! Love you guys
Hi nolly from ggd luv u
Everytime a new GGD comes out my sweetwater rep is like "Another one huh" xD
Now that's a great selection! Hope to grab it!!
My snares have been lacking a tone. So excited to slam this on it and it sound a whole lot better
Weirdly enough, my productivity increased massively whenever I am working while listening to Nolly GGD walkthrough or tutorial videos 👍👍👍

My god that demo hits you hard in the chest
V-Sauce at it again.
This sounds awesome and finally some great samples I can add to enhance my drum sound. Great work GGD guys! Can't wait to use this.
The ring stinger one is pretty common after spicy food too
Thank you. Brilliant video.
a great tones! summing slate trigger 2 with OKW Modern Fusion sounds massive
No one ever talks about the TCI files that come with Invasion, M&M, P4 and P5, I use those all the time.
I like your glasses
bruh that maple slam sample is godlike
Sound great. I love the invasion kit but I felt a lot of the snares lacked that extra ping so I can see a lot of the these samples coming in use!
Is your plan to just not use the invasion snare and use this instead?
@@danielclark612 Both I think. I will probably just lower the snare volume in Invasion
Let's go!

Drumshotz was just singlehandedly slaughtered before our very eyes.
This one is much cheaper too!
Smashing!
Is that a Four Wise Monkey's shirt?! I bought one when I was on tour in Bristol! haha Sorry - I was like holy shit i know that shirt! Awesome samples!
What are those guitar pickups? Polymath, Ragnarok? They sound really nice!
Polymath!
@@adamnollygetgood Thanks so much, great pups!

I’ve found that putting a crap ton of saturation via Fabfilter Saturn makes the cymbals in the OKW Brutal kit sound much less dead.
@@lava_ava I will be trying that out tonight, thanks for the recommendation!
He can speak for 5 mins on a snare sound. 😮
Nolly really likes drums

great release, as usual folks. Are there any free alternatives to Slate Trigger apart from just putting wavs manually into tracks?

I'm still hoping for a processed kit u can use with edm but there is for sure some sounds u might could use in here :)

Doesn't buster have his own drum plugin
@@boarderking133 no clue
Honestly - some of these will get you there!
@@codexstudios I'd sell my soul for OKW: Buster Odeholm
this is awesome!, but, how do you get slammers in chains and slamamore tone? 👀
is there a guide on how to load these samples on a ggd kit in cubase? can't find any instructions for this replacement
Pretty sure you can't load samples on GG's kits
@@boarderking133 i mean, doing what he's doing but in cubase
@@simonemanfredi7003Cubase has the „Groove Agent SE“ which you can use to load one shot samples :)
use Groove Agent instead of trigger 2

Does anyone know why Nolly stopped using his 2-bus approach with Gullfoss, VTM, and Pro-L2?
"We sent an expedition to the summit of K2 just to get this really dry hi-hat sample"
New glasses!?!?
So you're saying these can be used to make Slam songs?
Can i load this samples into td50x ?
Yes, after converting to 44.1khz sample rate
I'm missing something, why would i buy this if i already have a GGD drum kit?
You use trigger 2 to layer on top of the ggd kit to make it super fat and larger than life
I’m the only one who noticed that Nolly’s glasses are covering his eyebrows at the intro?
Sir Nolly knows
Why 48khz WAV files??
That's the standard for samples of any kind...?
