This is a great plugin, Keep Forest were nice enough to send me a copy. As a person that plays guitar I was kinda sceptical, but its really awesome mixing this into my "real" guitar, it adds a nice clarity to the tone. I'm going back now and adding in this extra layer to many of my mixes. I'd recommend this to guitarists and non guitarist alike. Thinking I need to buy a copy for this singer i'm working with so he can start writing riffs too.
Love seeing your workflow. I really liked the idea of bringing in "worldbuilding" elements at the beginning. Broad strokes like that are such a good way to get that atmosphere feeling right really quickly. Love the video, Chris! 🔥
Great stuff Chris, thanks a lot for sharing it! ❤ I'm new to the world of music production and starting in FL Studio. Is there a built-in plugin that can create the kind of guitar sound you did in Ableton? All the best Sir!! 🤘🤘
Would you consider making some beginner music theory videos for metal enthusiasts looking to learn how to make midi guitar music like you? Even a paid course, I just want to know how do work around the DAW like you in these videos, but I don't know what anything is.
thanks for the video! is it possible to just get the "direct-in (DI") signal out of it without any amp / cab / effect applied to it? (I think you showed that at 2:26 but I'm not 100% sure that's the raw DI signal)
@@RenzoGamesAndMetalMusic hahaha thats awesome. If you had to pick one to roll with which one would it be? Or do you feel like they're different tools for different jobs?
@Iamnickrobertson they’re all different tools. If knowing what I know now and I had to choose. Simply based on all the features you get, I’d choose Appex because it comes with not only the DI guitar, the chains, designer, dice, chords, it’s ridiculous! Odin III is awesome though, it’s a great DI guitar and very well built, plus it’s a stand alone VST, meaning no Kontakt req’d. 1. Appex 2. Odin III 3. Axure Ideally 1+2 are what I’d prefer, but if only 1 Appex. Hope that helps.
Would love to spend the money on this, but i know it will be a waste for me. It looks far too complicated for me to operate. I would use it for 5 minutes and probably give up

Yo super digging this Appex, if you were going to spend money on either Axure, Appex, or Odin, which one do you think you'd go with?
I've spent money on all three :P

@@Iamnickrobertson yeah my fav is AXURE because of the DI
But APPEX, takes it to the next level with its features! It’s basically a riff generator!
@@RenzoGamesAndMetalMusic Dude so fricken helpful! Thank you so much!
