Have been having trouble with my cat never seems to be happy. Has a bed has water all the time. I’m always petting it but it’s always grumpy.😅
Glad I can give you some inspirations for your own design. If I'm not wrong the cat's affection bugged, I read it somewhere in the steam discussion. My cat affection also drop from full crowned to about half after the newest update.

Why your bedroom is really small, maybe you should just get your bed into the kitchen beside your stove.
