- The interest in reasonable representation and 3D models is growing day after day. As a result, different software and tools are popping into the market to meet all these needs. These tools, known as render engines, help create realistic representations and 3D models by allowing designers and experts to add surfaces, volumes, lighting, and materials to models and plans. Some of the famous render engines that have widely affected the industry are Octane and Redshift render engines. Indeed they are both useful and powerful, but each one of them has specific different features. In this article, we will make a comparison between them to help you pick the best one for you.

8:54 you say Redshift has "tons of settings, check boxes and dials you have to tune JUST RIGHT" then you say that's why Redshift is the easiest to learn and use... does this make any flippin sense??
😂
No sense at all lol.
So according to this comment section and in my opinion redshift is better and also the video.
It is fast
It is reliable
personally I think it is very easy to use. It's similar to the c4d interface.
But whatever you chose they both are good
Get redshift lol.
I think i will go with Arnold
Yeah Arnold is good too I pick it over all of them
Octane is really easy to use and the lightning is beautiful, last versions for Cinema4D are pretty stable, at least for me. I love how fast Redshift has been growing and growing, time will tell if I swap to redshift or not. For now, I love Octane very much!
I have both redshift is really fast but I love octane more you can achieve amazing result if you learn it properly
Redhsift is awful fast....but only on GPU... anyway..the best Engine is the one that you can handle
Redshift actually works very well on linux!
Redshift is $500 USD, while Octane is 699 EURO which is ~$820 USD.
thats changing soon man. They're removing the perpetual license for redshift in like 5 days
@@bigdaddystrokes yep, it's only subscription based now
@@Cactuspractice12 UTTER TRASH IF YOU ASK ME!!!
If you have a student email, c4d and redshift is only 20 bucks a year
Can you share onw with me?@@TimandLauren
Good information but very difficult to listen to. Could not understand what the AI voice was saying half the time. Just get a real person next time, ok? Thanks.
Actually, this is my real voice. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the matter. I will definitely work on improving my performance.
@@inspirationTutsCAD Awkward....
Well, read the comments for better clarity, like I did 😃
nothing works in redshift in my opinion. My background doesn't render and motion blur doesnt even render.
That's your settings, not redshift its self.
Great video👍🏻
Nice video 👍
octane got confortable...redshift have been more innovative
octane vs reelshed
Wow that was some really uninspired reading of text
We will definitely take this into consideration.
Wow just completely ignore us Blender users...
The hell are you talking about? You can get both for blender.
@@Lezenko Yeah no shit. She didn't mention Blender at all, was my point.
@@madshader Butt hurt much? Jesus, blender is fine, it's awesome even. Feel better now?
@@timotmon lol! Not until you make a video about it, no.
@@madshader Make a video your damn self. A renderer is just a renderer, it doesn't care where it's getting it's geometry from. The app is irrelevant here. Do you just need her to say blender to make you feel better about yourself? FFS.
Octane is great to make shitty movie intros 😂🤣
What a load of shit.
Dislike for not pronouncing the L
