I can't stop listening to this song! Your smiles made me happy as you discovered each new section, because I was doing the same thing. Lol. I'm headed to see him in concert in September and I SO hope he plays this! I would lay odds that was Chris playing the guitar. If you watch the guitar solo at the end of, "I Was Wrong," live at Austin City Limits, you'll see/hear the style similarities. It's pretty distinctive, especially when he just hammers one note repeatedly for a couple of measures. Anyway, great review, I enjoy it when people enjoy things I like, too. :) New sub.
Excellent commentary on a fantastic talent that never fails to blow me away! I'm not a metal fan but I would put this on my playlist because Chris makes me love everything he sings!
Watch Chris live, especially when it's just him & his guitar...no auto-tune, no overdubbing, etc. You'll see/hear just how good he is. Plus he absolutely defies being put into a single genre yet there's always at least a little blues in there.

He is his own harmony. It was a good choice. No one could do it better! He is a phenomenal singer, musician, song writer, and a generous (almost to a fault) collaborator. Every time I see him sing with someone else, he isn't trying to outshine them. He was a background vocalists for a while so it seems he fades a bit to the background on collaborations. Very generous of him because he can blow the doors off almost any vocalist besides Jennifer Hudson.
