The person who made the tarantula’s enclosure is an expert in tarantulas and taking care of keeping them. He knew what he was doing and he put in cocoa fiber and the right amount of substrate. I contacted him and asked him about the amount of substrate, and he said the amount was good. He also said that the Brazilian Black tarantula is not a burrowing species and he doesn’t burrow that often. He doesn’t need a ton of substrate, because he doesn’t burrow that often, but he has a ton anyway. The amount of substrate is just fine.
It’s fine they do like to bulldoze lol but will happily take a hide that’s already made . How big is she/he now ? And have you done a rehoming ? If so is there a video?

She is about the same size. We have not done a rehoming, since our spider has been doing just fine in her current home. She is fine and healthy!
May I ask where did you get your Brazilian black at?
A local pet store
That's a really nice spider.
Thank you!
