I have never listened to Mongolian throat singing either so I really enjoyed hearing it to the first time via this video. I felt like I was reacting along with them. Love this video
Oh everyone knows MJ. I asked Mukhtiar he says I just know the name but don't know who he was though. I was surprised by his answer and he told me everyone knows that name even in very remote villages. Strange but true.
i really really like how open minded these people are... i tried to make some people i know listen to mongolian throat singing (and other kind of "ethnic" music like indonesian gamalan) and they just laugh AT the musicians call them stupid and mock them, just being judgmental like most western people are while these people that are exposed to less or have less access to different things are much more openminded and while they sometimes laugh it is not a mean spirited judgmental laugh AT the people but just a WOW surprised kind of laugh
I think sometimes people fall into subcultures and develop this group identity over the silliest things. "Oh, I'm a _listens to pop music_ person. I don't listen to _this."_ Cue lots of stupid, pointless meanness and bickering. Honestly, probably one of the biggest things I miss about my childhood is how blissfully unaware I was about toxic fandoms -- I could just like what I liked without feeling self-conscious about whatever "fandom" I was getting lumped in with, and I didn't feel like having different tastes from someone else was somehow putting them down. We just liked different things, and if they were going to be weird about it then that was their problem.
Another very fine production. Thank you to all involved. As with your recent Bob Ross videos, the cross-cultural appreciation is sincere and, frankly, quite moving.
I'm so touched by these videos. This one is so beautiful. And I wanna listen to Batzorig too! Also can't wait to watch them singing, must be beautiful.

@@ThirrinDiamond I took an hour workshop (which is too short to learn much) on throat singing. It is very difficult.
@@Catlily5 I'm too poor to travel to interesting places to learn it, and I want to. Do you know of any reputable online content toward that end?
@@JariDawnchild No, I took an hour class at a local Folk Festival. So unless you live in N.M. I can't recommend anything.
i feel so pleased with this video and i LOVED the editing, they touched my heart with their comments, is so cool that you are showing them so nice stuff about our world, im so happy they have the oportunity to see the rest of us is this planet as we have the oportunity to be aware of the existence of this beautiful people in Pakistan, thank you for your work on the channel!
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts 🤗❤️😊🌷
I love watching their reactions. I wouldn't mind a little bit from them with what music they know.
This is my new favourite channel! I love these wonderful human beings thoughts and opinions.
🤗❤️🌷
That one gentleman mentioned he had listened to Michael Jackson & that made me think I would love to see tribal people to react to MJ's "Earth Song" with a translation of his lyrics. I cry every time I see the video. It's such a good message & very powerful beautiful video.
Watching this channel never ceases to bring me joy
What I love about these people is that they see stuff totally strange to them, and truely and openly appreciate it for what it is. It's such a different image of what we usually get to see of people from these countries.
I love these videos. I am actually crying from the beauty of cultures appreciating other cultures. They are so gracious with something so different.
I wish that attitude was more prevalent here.
My love and respect for them! Love this channel and I wish it gets bigger and bigger with many subscribers around the world! 😊 greetings from Brazil, south America 🇧🇷
I absolutely love the drumming on the table. There's something very magical about the regional drum rhythms. Absolutely fascinating to learn the different names for the instruments. You are all such beautiful people , I send my love and respect to you all.
Mongolian throat singing is an amazing art. In fact, Mongolia is a superb land. The land of blue sky. People are awesome. Love Mongolia ❤️
We should go visit there and meet Batzorig
“He makes me happy inside.” What they recognize as a ‘Dambura’ reminded me of a Croatian relative telling me of his native country’s ‘Tamburica’.
I am so happy you picked the mighty Batzroig to show them! He is a great treasure to the world and all who study Khoomei or any extended vocal techniques. He is a wonderful teacher. Wela'lin!
i am so happy to hear people from other countries are as happy as i was when i first heard him, i think he is teaching, not only grandkids but others as well,
Throat singing takes tons of practice. I love that, as usual, the old man figures out what it is before even seening/hearing it.
Guy's a genius.
i don't watch reaction videos much but this channel randomly appeared in my recommended and i watched every video immediately. seeing them try things they've never seen or heard of before, and maybe never thought even possible, is such a joy and i hope that trybals continues to grow so that they can experience so much more!
Thank you so much, your love and support would mean alot to us :)
I think it would be fun to see how they react to Powwow Regalia dance contest and Drum Circles. The Indigenous peoples of Canada and the U.S. have very interesting cultures and gather to sing and dance and share their culture. These gatherings are called Pow Wow.
This was such a great reaction video! Thank your for sharing this. I really enjoyed seeing all these wonderful people again: relating it to things they've experienced, being so open minded and in awe of a totally different skill. And Muharam drumming on the table - I could listen to that all day!
Muharam is such a natural at gaining skills and he doesn’t realize it! 🌞
Again, I send my appreciation for your work. Your videos make me laugh and they make me cry; they fill my heart.
I was curious to hear if they liked it or not. Awesome that they did and recognized the difficulty and beauty of throat singing. Awesome reactions!
This channel deserves more subscribers 👏🏻
I would like to see them react to more music genres
All my time watching your channel I always thought your Ustads were musicians. I’m amazed to hear today that most of them have never played or performed. Amazing that they have such passion and understanding of music.
They are all so adorable, so pure with their reactions
I love these videos so much because these people are always so effusive with their praise. No matter what it is they’re reacting to, they’re so honest and feel free to share their emotions and feelings. It’s so refreshing. Thanks for sharing again and again!
Thanks 🤗❤️😊🌷
I love how this channel allows these lovelies to discover the western arts, unlike most that concentrate on snacks and sensationalism, this has real meat on the bone, congratz :)
Glad you enjoy it!
Mongolia isn't western art... But other than that yes it's a very good channel
I love watching different cultures appreciate and respect different cultures. This channel is awesome and i hope everyone involved has much prosperity!
I'd love to see them react to some other types of overtone singing.
Amazing! How not to love Batzorig? His music introduced me to throat singing and opened me to a whole new world, I'm glad they liked it, actually made me tear up a bit
Batzorig Vaanchig does teach his young daughter to sing in some of his videos.
The drumming on the table sounded awesome!
These reactions are very heartwarming sometimes. Wonderful!
i really really like how open minded these people are... i tried to make some people i know listen to mongolian throat singing (and other kind of "ethnic" music like indonesian gamalan) and they just laugh AT the musicians call them stupid and mock them, just being judgmental like most western people are while these people that are exposed to less or have less access to different things are much more openminded and while they sometimes laugh it is not a mean spirited judgmental laugh AT the people but just a WOW surprised kind of laugh
Who would make nasty comments?
You may or not like it but otherwise is ignorant of other peiple and cultures
Hope u make more inlightened friends
I tried getting my family listen to Chinese Bus Chenyu's music 'Nunchucks' and the Korean pop singer/dancers BlackPink... They're just not interested.
We just liked different things, and if they were going to be weird about it then that was their problem.
i love when they try singing along!! you can see and genuine and pure they are! so happy i found this channel💗
Not very often a group of people are unanimous in compliments..
Kudos to them too.
What I have found watching your videos is that we have so much more in common than we have that's different. This just fills me with hope
i love to hear this..... i wish they could talk more about similarities and show how us all are similar !
The sore throat comment was so wholesome and hilarious
Bless them, they were all amazed and happy to hear such spiritual sounds .
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have them watch the band The Hu (song wolf totem, in particular, PLEASE) now that they’ve heard traditional Mongolian thirst singing. That might rock their worlds! Who knows? But, boy, I’d sure LOVE to see that video and I know I’m not alone!!! 💜💜💜 Much love from Ohio, USA
Sure, will do that soon 😊
YES this is an awesome song
The Hu are excellent, I absolutely love them.
I don't know if they're ready for The Hu yet. Lol. Wolf Totem is awesome!
Namaste
I absolutely love everyone and all that they bring in all these videos! Just such beautiful people, minds, and spirits!
I really enjoyed the Mongolian throat singing. The sound very much reminded me of the didgeridoo. Can you find a recording of the didgeridoo for them to see and hear please?
"Because his beard is not full grown." Stroking his elegant wizardly whiskers for emphasis. 8:05
I am surprised that you didn't show them songs from The Hu too. Wolf Totem is probably the most well known one. I like the remix of it too.
Maybe you can show those too. 😎
I think they need an introduction to some rock and metal first for that. Just my opinion, feel free to correct me if I am wrong 😊
@@TRYBALS You’re not wrong. Why show them westernized versions? Well done for showing them the traditional music. Much more interesting in my opinion.
@@TRYBALS Yes, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, and System of a Down
I am so blessed to have found this channel! What amazing, genuine people with full hearts! God bless all of them
You are so kind! God bless you too
My man busting out a raggaeton beat pretty well while saying "I don't know if this is good"
