    Bro I have 2 questions
    1. can I use cotton for cleaning the laptop cpu and GPU
    2. Can I use hand sanitizer as alcohol ?

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Год назад +2

      Thank you for your feedback! If you would like to support the channel, you can show your support by liking and subscribing.
      Regarding your question, I strongly advise against using cotton balls to clean the CPU or GPU. Cotton fibers can get caught on tiny capacitors around the CPU die and potentially cause damage. Instead, I recommend using a kitchen towel or a napkin for cleaning.
      When it comes to using alcohol, I suggest using a minimum of 95% isopropyl alcohol. Hand sanitizers often contain a significant amount of water and are not typically 95% isopropyl alcohol, so they may not be as effective for cleaning electronic components.
      If you have any further questions or need assistance in the future, please feel free to ask.

      Regarding your question, i have explained about the thermal pads right @6:00
      you don't need to replace or remove the pads, the pads are placed not glued, the pads that come from manufacture are great quality and no need to replace them, unless you lost or damaged them.

    Hello, I also face with a similar problem.
    For the context, I had an older laptop fan, but one of the vents broke and when running games or anything that puts the CPU and GPU at stress, it started emitting a very loud high pitched noise which was incredibly annoying. In the end, I ended up buying another fan to replace the old one. The fan when it arrived it was in good condition, all clean, nothing to worry about yet.
    Then installed the fan properly like you did, i was careful with the wires and screws. I put the laptop panel back on and starting the laptop.
    And here is when I noticed a strange behaviour: on idle and plugged in, the laptop emits a rather annoying but not as awful as the old fan. I unplug it but the sound remains the same. Then I tried to lift the laptop for a bit to see which fan has the problem. I still didn’t figure it out.
    And when gaming or running anything intensive, the fans spin faster but it is just the spinning sound with barely any audible noise from a fan.
    Mind you, the laptop fan I am currently using is barely 1 month old and I already have some strange noise with it.

      regarding your question: when we get this issue in the store the problem could be from following:
      #1. SSD or HDD are going bad, check the SSD OR HDD status with CrystalDiskInfo
      #2. it could be a bad windows update that didn't apply it self, formatting windows.
      #3. CPU over heating , a repaste doesn't hurt and it can help a lot.
      #4. replace the SSD even if it's still good as it happens that when the status of the SSD is good but something wrong with firmware and replacing it and reinstalling widows it fixed the issue.

    Hey I have repasted my lenovo Ideapad gaming 3 excatly 2 weeks ago with arctic mx6. Ar first it was all OK. Gpu temeprature decreased but CPU temeprature increased. CPU reaches 95 celsius at 60% load (msi afterburner stats) and is around 55 celsius at idle. Did I repaste it wrong? Maybe I used little bit of force when screwing to make sure its maximum tight, could it be bad?

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  11 месяцев назад

      oh there is something wrong with repaste, NOTHING to do with screwing tight the screws, that is fine.
      you may have unbalanced heatsink, we do get that in the store and don't worry, do me a favor and use this:
      amzn.to/45I3UmG
      and take your time and cut a nice amount of the pad and place it on GPU and CPU, clean the old paste off the heatsink and GPU/CPU
      this paste comes in a pad format and once it heat sup it will become paste and it will fill the unbalanced gaps.

      absolutely it wont make no difference if you spread or DOT in middle,
      the thermal paste is the ONLY solution for GPU or CPU, but the pad/paste link i send you is not a thermal pad.
      it is a very especial paste that is in form of pad, it is .2mm thick and once the cpu or gpu heats up it will melt the pad to the paste and it will fix your issue.
      make sure you remove the plastic layers from both sides.

    bro i have the same laptop , how much the temps diferences after repasting and cleaning fans ?

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your feedback! If you would like to support the channel, you can either like, subscribe, or do both!
      Regarding your question, you would notice a significant decrease in fan noise and temperature, usually around 10 degrees Celsius or more. By applying a better thermal paste, heat transfer to the heatsink becomes more efficient, allowing the system to cool down faster. As a result, the fan will spin at lower speeds because it can cool the components more effectively. It's important to consider that there is a fan curve in the BIOS, which determines the fan speed based on the temperature threshold.
      For example, let's say the fan starts running at 50% RPM when the temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius. With a good thermal paste, the heat will be absorbed faster, enabling the fan to cool down the heatsink more efficiently, thus keeping the temperatures under control.
      To summarize, it is advisable to replace the thermal paste once a year, depending on the laptop's heavy usage. Think of it as having a car and not wanting to replace the oil.
      I recommend using a high-end paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, which can be found here: amzn.to/468eynp

      @simoichinose8133 Год назад +1
