    Thank you for the lesson! I have been watching many of your reviews to help narrow down what ukes work best for short arms, hands affected by injury and mellower sounds. Really hard not to get a big bite from the UAS bug! LOL

    When learning ukulele, would you recommend learning through multiple songs or more formally by practicing scales and strumming patterns? Which technique would make a more proficient ukulele player?

    • @OneMusicSchool
      @OneMusicSchool  Год назад +2

      That’s a good question. I think it depends upon the person’s personality, learning style, and musical background. We’re all very different and multifaceted, so I think it’s good to experiment to see what works for you. When I’m teaching a new student or a new group, I have to learn more about the person or get to know the group more to really formulate a plan that will work. I hope that helps 😀.

      @@OneMusicSchool thanks for the reply! I'll tinker with it to see what works best. I have background in playing brass instruments (which doesn't help me with finger dexterity 😅) so I want to take a more formal approach but at the same time I'm not doing this for anything but a hobby and personal growth. I'm trying to treat it more as a marathon than a sprint. Thanks again for all the great information you have!

    • @OneMusicSchool
      @OneMusicSchool  Год назад +1

      Great advice to “treat it as a marathon rather than a sprint”. As someone that has a musical background, you’ll find that it will serve you more than you know. Because you are familiar with music and rhythm notation, it’s going to help you immensely when it comes to counting and strumming 😀z
