Get use to getting into the feels and goosebumps with Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. Please do Stranger by Dimash. You will need to make the videos filtered however because You Tube loves to block his videos. You will find he is insanely talented. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English becoming his third language quickly. However, he sings in about 15 different languages. Stranger will be in English. Also, he sings in different genres, composes music, acts, raps, plays multiple instruments and even dances once in a while. Mostly he sings and he can totally mesmerize an audience. Saw him in New York at a sold out concert at the Barclays in 2019. Also, check out Ikanaide which he does from studio due to covid restrictions. Vey up close and you can see how he moves to and from the mic. His voice is very powerful and he has to pull away from that mic from time to time.

The gentleman playing all those instruments is called a percussionist he plays several percussion instruments which is common in other countries and why music is so much different then the US. Music is not so much different here in the US than in other countries. Of course, those instruments are part of any complete percussion section. Please do not generalize about a whole country based on one young reactor without a broad background in music or languages. I am sure you would be dismayed if your country was characterized by some living there. I appreciated this young man's reaction as I have many reactors trying to find their way through the uniqueness of Dimash. Some have a great appreciation and understanding for what they are hearing and others not so much so. However, I still like seeing their surprise at Dimash's talent regardless of the reactor's expertise.

Our music ihere in the US is not the same just like music in Asia is not the same as in India. That is not a bad thing. I’ve never seen a production like those in Asia, Russia etc We don’t usually have a whole orchestra or choir and it is rare to see some of those percussion instruments used in American music. And we definitely don’t play all the same instruments it’s not a bad thing it’s just different just like food, customs and clothing. It would be pretty boring if there weren’t differences. He is so in control of his voice that his not from this world. Being the talented musician that he is, you can imagine that the band members supporting him are from the highest tier, as well. The S.O.S. song is in French. You can search for his live performance of the same song from the Slavic Bazaar - it has English subtitles. The lyrics are quite impactful. If you are interested to see how high he can go, you might want to check out his performance of "Opera 2". The original song is by Vitas, but I personally prefer Dimash's take on it. A really well-rounded percussionist will have a bag of weird wooden and metal things that he can pull out and make interesting sounds to match the ambiance of the song. The triangle is just a pretty standard occupant of the bag. Probably 2 or 3 for different pitches.
If you’re into metal, you should listen to “Across Endless Dimension” from Dimash. It’s in English, though not fully a metal song, the ending has some awesome electric guitar with Dimash’s ridiculous vocals. You’ll be mind-blown, again.

The guy with the triangle, tambourine etc is called a percussionist. Those instruments are common in every fully equipped orchestra, not just elementary school. Also triangles are more complex to play than most people realize. After you strike it, moving it around different ways makes different sounds.

He's playing a tambourine and a shaker, and is a percussionist, as opposed to a drummer. Dimash's backup band is kick-ass, and the perfect combination with Dimash. And, every single not of every instrument is charted out, and there for a reason.
Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. I'm a bit late😅. The Triangle-guy’s name is Ilya Pokrovskiy and he is a great percussionist and plays in Dimash's band at his concerts. You should see the drumms duels between the two at the end of every concert. Dimash always plays with the best. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. Believe me,everyone who watches Dimash first time have the same behavior like you did. I remember stopping cooking in the middle my dinner over ''Love of tired Swans'' song as BGM. As a vocalist myself, trying to process, what I just witnessed in music genre. 😄
Get use to getting into the feels and goosebumps with Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. Please do Stranger by Dimash. You will need to make the videos filtered however because You Tube loves to block his videos. You will find he is insanely talented. He is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English becoming his third language quickly. However, he sings in about 15 different languages. Stranger will be in English. Also, he sings in different genres, composes music, acts, raps, plays multiple instruments and even dances once in a while. Mostly he sings and he can totally mesmerize an audience. Saw him in New York at a sold out concert at the Barclays in 2019. Also, check out Ikanaide which he does from studio due to covid restrictions. Vey up close and you can see how he moves to and from the mic. His voice is very powerful and he has to pull away from that mic from time to time.

The gentleman playing all those instruments is called a percussionist he plays several percussion instruments which is common in other countries and why music is so much different then the US. I’m other songs you will see instruments you’ve never seen before. I know you were joking but this man is a professional and very talented. Not as easy as you think. Welcome to the world of Dimash. Music is not so much different here in the US than in other countries. Of course, those instruments are part of any complete percussion section. Please do not generalize about a whole country based on one young reactor without a broad background in music or languages. I am sure you would be dismayed if your country was characterized by some living there. I appreciated this young man's reaction as I have many reactors trying to find their way through the uniqueness of Dimash. Some have a great appreciation and understanding for what they are hearing and others not so much so. However, I still like seeing their surprise at Dimash's talent regardless of the reactor's expertise.

Our music ihere in the US is not the same just like music in Asia is not the same as in India. That is not a bad thing. I’ve never seen a production like those in Asia, Russia etc We don’t usually have a whole orchestra or choir and it is rare to see some of those percussion instruments used in American music. And we definitely don’t play all the same instruments it’s not a bad thing it’s just different just like food, customs and clothing. It would be pretty boring if there weren’t differences. I did not want to explain in detail, because I was afraid you might not take a look at it. -))) The name is pronounced as "dhimmash", the "i" being like you would pronounce the first syllable in "demon", if that helps. He is so in control of his voice that his not from this world. Being the talented musician that he is, you can imagine that the band members supporting him are from the highest tier, as well. The S.O.S. song is in French. You can search for his live performance of the same song from the Slavic Bazaar - it has English subtitles. The lyrics are quite impactful. If you are interested to see how high he can go, you might want to check out his performance of "Opera 2". The original song is by Vitas, but I personally prefer Dimash's take on it. The video is again live, in China, and he is quite young there. Which once again proves he is a talented human being.
Oh, by the way, in Opera 2 he does sing in Russian. -)

A really well-rounded percussionist will have a bag of weird wooden and metal things that he can pull out and make interesting sounds to match the ambiance of the song. The triangle is just a pretty standard occupant of the bag. Probably 2 or 3 for different pitches.
If you’re into metal, you should listen to “Across Endless Dimension” from Dimash. It’s in English, though not fully a metal song, the ending has some awesome electric guitar with Dimash’s ridiculous vocals. You’ll be mind-blown, again.

It's pronounced Dee-mahsh. His vocal range and musical diversity is unmatched today, and probably throughout history..... the singer of the millennia.
The guy with the triangle, tambourine etc is called a percussionist. Those instruments are common in every fully equipped orchestra, not just elementary school. Also triangles are more complex to play than most people realize. After you strike it, moving it around different ways makes different sounds.

This song is in French. But it's only one of the 15 languages that he has performed in.
Still can't figure out why people listen to a language that's foreign to them without subtitles. Especially since lyrics and their interpretation in a performance is critical to the overall experience.

The Triangle-guy’s name is Ilya Pokrovskiy and he is a great percussionist and plays in Dimash's band at his concerts. You should see the drumms duels between the two at the end of every concert. Dimash always plays with the best.
Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers.
His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.
He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.
