As a metal head for many years I completely got your reaction to Dimash as I was the same way when I first heard his voice. Luckily I wasn't a reactor and I could instantly dive into the depths of RUclips for everything he's ever done since he exploded onto the world stage 5 years ago. It wasn't the kind of music that I listened to either but now, I can't go a single day without listening to his voice. From Opera to Rap and everything in between sung with the same ease and skill as he performs SOS. I then discovered his amazing personality, his humour, his humility and love of family and the strong two way connection that runs between him and his Dears (what he has named his fanbase) He sings in 13 languages and plays 7 instruments and music runs through his veins. I can't think of anyone else who can sing every genre, from opera to rock, in 13 languages, uses the whole keyboard of the piano and some octaves above and on top of that with surgical precision. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. Dimash Kudaibergen is from Kazakhstan. He is Eurasian. 6'3" tall. Athletic. He began his classical/operatic vocal training at age 5 and continued full time until age 25. He will be 28 on the 24th of this month (May). He also began training in contemporary vocal singing and has incorporates both vocal styles in his singing. He also plays at least 7 instruments He is currently completing his Doctoral Thesis. His Masters is in Music Composition. His I.Q. is up there. He was raised speaking Kazak and Russian. He is slowly learning English. He does indeed have a 7+ octave range. He has perfect pitch. He is also heavily in volved in arranging all of his music. He works heavily with Maestro Igor Krutoy, a Russian/Ukrainian composer. Igor is worth around 13 Billion dollars as a result of his music writing abilities. He had been retired for 25 years when he heard Dimash for the first time. He approached Dimash and Kanat, (father of Dimash) offering to work with Dimash. They jumped at the chance and have made music history. Igor plays for Dimash in concert if it is one of his compositions, otherwise Dimash has his own band which he travels with, most of whom he grew up with in music school. You already know DIMASH is a fantastic singer, but he is also a composer, working on PHD in music, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, martial arts belt holder, fashion mag. model, textbook role model for school children in several countries, sell-out concerts globally, humanitarian, and world's best simple nice guy, loved by 10's of millions of fans worldwide. His vocal purity is an essence that covers all genres of music, genres mean nothing to him for he is music in its purest form. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. As a metal head for many years I completely got your reaction to Dimash as I was the same way when I first heard his voice. Luckily I wasn't a reactor and I could instantly dive into the depths of RUclips for everything he's ever done since he exploded onto the world stage 5 years ago. It wasn't the kind of music that I listened to either but now, I can't go a single day without listening to his voice. From Opera to Rap and everything in between sung with the same ease and skill as he performs SOS. I then discovered his amazing personality, his humour, his humility and love of family and the strong two way connection that runs between him and his Dears (what he has named his fanbase)

We understand all this because his voice can come across as shocking because it's consistently masterful, flawless, and pushes all known "limits" on the human voice.

I can't think of anyone else who can sing every genre, from opera to rock, in 13 languages, uses the whole keyboard of the piano and some octaves above and on top of that with surgical precision. Mixing all the genres and his alien techniques in his repertoire blow my mind. His stage presents is unmatched. It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 13 languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh,Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

He works heavily with Maestro Igor Krutoy, a Russian/Ukrainian composer.

He approached Dimash and Kanat, (father of Dimash) offering to work with Dimash.
They jumped at the chance and have made music history. Igor plays for Dimash in concert if it is one of his compositions, otherwise Dimash has his own band which he travels with, most of whom he grew up with in music school.
Bot of his parents are musicians/singers as well, both being singers and instrument players.
You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. You already know DIMASH is a fantastic singer, but he is also a composer, working on PHD in music, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, martial arts belt holder, fashion mag. model, textbook role model for school children in several countries, sell-out concerts globally, humanitarian, and world's best simple nice guy, loved by 10's of millions of fans worldwide. His vocal purity is an essence that covers all genres of music, genres mean nothing to him for he is music in its purest form. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings.
His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. They have long been known among the people of Kazakhstan and were awarded the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan: ruclips.net/video/-Hhi1x4LqpE/видео.html
According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate. We have to call him soon Doctor Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (There is a video where the teacher talks about it)... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian (without accent, second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages. He trains his voice for 3 hours every day, ..but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.
