If you are allowed to do it at your gym do deadlifts in your socks, otherwise get a pair of flat shoes like a Converse or similar. Being able to have your foot flat on the floor will give you a better connection with the floor than trainers with a springy sole, will help with better balance & allow you to push through the foot more, which will help technique & esp as weight gets heavier.
Great work Jack, I remember commenting on one of your earlier videos before you blew up so it’s good too see how well your doing now. As someone who also started at around 50kg (similar height to you aswell), I think a tip that is extremely underrated within the fitness industry is too make sure you are actually enjoying the foods you are eating and avoid forcing them down too improve digestion. Too much food will not digest properly and will probably lead to you feeling like crap (as I did). Your stomach only has a certain amount of enzymes, and if you overwhelm them, your body is not going to function aswell. Also, ignore the people telling you to eat more, stick to your calorie needs and try to be in a surplus that is as comfortable for you too maintain as possible. I do hope you take the time out of your day too read this, as I think this will really help and I personally want to see you prove all these haters wrong. All the best 👊👊

Good shit. It probably did affect your max lift a bit to do all the progressive sets. It's not for everybody but once I warm up I start at max weight and drop weight from there. Some people swear by it but I see it as more of a preference.
Use more leg drive and pull the bar closer to your shins, not too far out in front of you. You don’t want to injure your back and have that hinder your progress. Keep up the good work 👍
Don't wanna be a dick Jack but I'd always warm up and then go heavy first so you have the most energy for the lift. I'd recommend lifting bare foot too that should really help you. That being said I'm so happy you are smashing it keep up the great effort
When i first started the gym 2 years ago, i was 61kg and 6ft1, i was never this skinny tho. So i had more fat than jack but not much muscle mass in me. Im now 80kg much stronger aswel as the weights i lift have increased ( shoulder press machine use to lift 1 10kg plate either side, same for chest press, now im lifting 20kg for reps) those were just examples. Im still ok the bulk tho as i wanna get heavier and even stronger i have now started powerlifting training instead of bodybuilding. But my journey has been good and more to come!!
Hey Jack, try doing deadlifts without trainers on and really grip the floor with your toes. You'll be pleasantly surprised you may lift more and achieve a higher PB. The soles in your trainers will wreck the kinetic energy you can generate.
It's important to have some structured guidance and a progressive program in place. Without proper periodization, your training might lack direction. It's essential to follow a plan rather than just doing what feels right on any given day. At momebt type of training you are doing now is going to pleatu very quickly.
SHOES get some converse if you must do these moves. or use onituga tiger they are very flat and low to the ground you will get more power. using running or cross country shoes are poor for DL's

I would definitely get some better trainers or deadlift barefoot as your feet are very unstable. Your feet should be planted solidly to the ground in the deadlift, toes should not be lifting!

Good form, doing deadlifts in socks or no shoes will compliment it more and also help you lift slightly heavier as it’s less range of motion.
