    The difference between most video's and this one is that I rotate the middle foundation, and not stand in the middle and drag foundations while rotating your character. And this is the reason why this is the only, and correct way to create perfect circles.
    Once you mastered this technique you can create this blueprint within 15-20 minutes like me. And that is the reason why I didn't cut in this video and why it runs in 1x speed.
    Credit goes to Brimmx for the original tutorial that helped me creating circle blueprints. • Big Circle Tutorial Fa...

      This is not the easiest thing to do when you just started with the game, so don't feel bad if you don't get it right now. Before I tried things like this I started out with simple camps and learned how to merge items together to create new furniture, or fill up shelves and try more advanced stuff step by step when I got more confident. And FO76 has a great community, so you can ask other camp builders what tricks they used on certain parts of their camps.

      @@Phoenixfire218 I haven't tried it the last few months, so I'll have to check to be sure. The person that I learned this way of building from (Brimmx, there is a link in the description of this video), used a controller and it doesn't seem to have any problems with it. With the controller you don't have to worry about moving the camera by accident while rotating the middle foundation (I have to hold my mouse upside down in my hand to prevent this) and we don't have analog triggers, so I think it should be easier to do on console or with controller if someone prefers it.

Now when you hold down the E key (a bit of a hidden function), it will slow down the rotation speed while you hold down one of the mouse buttons to rotate. I do need to tap the mouse buttons fast left and right sometimes to get the foundation at the correct angle, but holding down E makes it easier.

      Hey there! Are you stuck on a certain step or did you complete all steps and are stuck on placing the circle blueprint on a new location? The problem with this blueprint is that the area needs to be a bit flat with no objects that are in the way. Sometimes you can still make it work by trying different heights or trying to rotate it or move it arround a little bit to see if the edge turns blue.

      Hello there. The place where you make this blueprint does matter and it should be very flat to make it easier to place a large blueprint. That is why I either use this spot in Whitespring or the workshop at Wade Airport. Other reasons this might not work is if you start placing down the first foundations too low in the ground, or when you carefully have to move the middle foundation lower you move it a bit too much out of place (there are some tolerances but they are small). Also corpses if you had to kill enemies, get them out of the way by looting them and throw som grenades to move them out of the way. I hope one of these steps will help you. You could also ask one of your ingame friends to give it a try and copy their finished blueprint.

      Place the roof pieces down one at a time and use a flamer trap on top of some stash boxes to destroy it (or you can ask a friend to go in PvP with you to shoot roof pieces). Once a roof is destroyed you can place them inside eachother without having the message that it is not possible. After you completed everything just go to the camp module and select repair all. If you want to have a video tutorial you could search on how to make UFO camps, because they also have to merge roof pieces inside eachother in the same way.

      Yes! If you have the one of the catwalk sets, then it should be easy to create a double wall on the edge of a foundation. If you are using the same walls as in this video (red barn wall) with the doorway you are set. Just place one catwalk (any type will do) in the doorway pointing outwards. After you can place another doorway wall of the same type against the other wall. Remove the catwalk and change the walls in whatever you want to use.

    Excellent tutorial! I’m old school and had always done it with two +’s and then filled in my hand. I’ll definitely be trying this method to update my 16 circle. Two questions: 1) I noticed you didn’t drop the last blueprint you made. I was always under the impression that already merged foundations didn’t place when blueprinted. Is that not the case with this particular one? And 2) I noticed you didn’t mention any foundations added to the outside of a solid circle build will lock in place until you remove the center foundations… is that not the case anymore?
    PS I shared this with a few FB groups… hope you don’t mind some more traffic! 🙂

    • @HitBit_Gaming
      @HitBit_Gaming  2 года назад +2

      Thank you very much!! And let me know if you have any more questions.
      The cool thing is that merged foundations can be placed after you blueprinted them again, and you can even share them with friends (if you change the Atom shop textures back to normal ones) by joining a normal party and place it down in a workshop. Also the merged foundations are smaller in size, making it a bit easier to place.
      The only thing I'm not sure about is if it is true for all console players as well, because I play only the PC version. But on the other hand you can build another blueprint fast if a future patch will break it somehow or if you mess it up.
      Locking foundations can happen (Not sure why but I think it thinks that the foundation on the inside is floating), and you need to plan ahead in the design. I might take some time to play with it to see if it can be fixed (if possible) without having to start all over again.
      The fun thing of this design is that you can remove part of the floor on one side except for the middle one and you can build in straight line again in a row of 5 foundations. I also used 2 halves one time to create a Circus tent.
      And thank you for sharing this video! I don't mind it at all.

      I thought you might like this short video placing the blueprint down as proof.
      ruclips.net/video/T4B9J_sDBzc/видео.html
      It can be a bit more tricky to place it down if area's that aren't flat enough, but rotating and moving it around spamming the place button can help sometimes to find that one place where it can be placed.
      The foundations do get stuck when connecting them and you cannot remove them without destroying the circle (No working workaround for that yet). So you need to be sure you want to connect other foundations next to it. My tip is always to lay out all the foundations first, then walls, roofs and floors, and keep details for last until you run out of budget...
      Also one of my plans in the future to do some builds while recording using my blueprints, or how to even create new blueprints of existing ones.

      @@HitBit_Gaming well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. All this time I’ve been making it more difficult on myself. Now I’ve got more tools to play with… thank you! Old notions die hard!
      And yeah, that’s what I thought. I always warn folks I give the circle build to to be careful of snapping anything to the outside of it. It’s pretty much how I came up with my “The Cog” BoS build way back lol
      PS… if you place small catwalks on top of all the walls, then a small floor object in the middle, you don’t need the foundations and it places a bit more forgivingly. Add foundations afterward if you like… won’t be circular foundations but then you might not even have a round build at that location so 🤷🏻‍♂️ Also great for UFOs anywhere… use the succulent plant as the small object and it’ll place on top of pillars/posts, under Stairs tab!

With my UFO build, I placed down this blueprint in a workshop, only selected 4 foundations with the walls on top of it that are next to eachother, and created a new small blueprint. Now I could place down the blueprint on the edge on top of the rocks, and completed the rest of the circle using the catwalks.

      I would place down this blueprint, remove all foundations and connect one foundation to one of the walls, then connect stairs to it that go down on the inside. Then connect catwalk pieces until you end up underneath the wall on the other side of the circle and connect a wall to it. Remove the things you added except for the last wall and repeat this step from the wall next to it and so on.

      Most of the time it has to do with the step where you move the middle foundation a littlebit down, there are are some tolerances, but if you slightly turn it or move it too much to one of the sides and try to connect the blueprint later it will stay red.

      It still works but it is not an easy blueprint to make and it took me many tries before I personally got it to work the first time, but because a lot of practice I can make one easy now. I made it 1 or 2 weeks ago from scratch for a friend at the Wade Airport workshop (because it is flat there) so that's how I know it still works. The step where most people have trouble is lowering the foundation without trying to move or rotate it, because if it does and you make the first blueprint, it won't fit back in if you moved it too much. I only play on PC, but if someone has the blueprint on Playstation they can share it with you. I hope that this helped a bit.

    • @HitBit_Gaming
      @HitBit_Gaming  2 года назад

      Before creating the first blueprint, do not move or rotate the foundation too much when you lower it just a littlebit by moving the camera down. When working with keyboard and mouse you could try to lower the dpi setting of your mouse at this point. If it goes wrong here the other pieces in the circle will overlap the existing ones too much making it impossible to fit. But don't feel bad if you mess it up, because this is not an easy tutorial to do and I also had to practice a lot before making these circle blueprints. And if it is too hard, don't be shy to ask for help, because other players that made this blueprint can put it down for you in a workshop (maybe change textures back to default) and you can blueprint it yourself while on their team.

      When you carefully have to move the middle foundation slightly downwards, make sure that it doesn't move too much. There are some tolerances but you still have to be careful. Make sure to do this at a area that is very flat, because it is hard to place huge blueprints even with the slightest hills. If you would do this in a workshop I would recommend Wade Airport. Also when placing the first foundation, don't push them too much in the ground, that might prevent placing the blueprint as well if one part is too low in the ground. I hope these steps will help you. And you can always let a friend try it and steal the blueprint from them.😅

      Make sure to take some distance when you want to place the blueprint down (most of the time just a bit outside your building area). Then I move it around a bit and just start rotating the blueprint until it snaps in the corect spot and the sides turn blue. Another thing that could mess it up is if something didn't go right with the selection of the floors and walls creating the first blueprint, or removed the incorrect floors and walls. Because nothing in the blueprint should overlap with the existing pieces.

You need to be carefull that the camera goes straight down and doesn't turn at all, cancel the placement if you moved the camera too much, and try again. The middle foundation must stay at almost the exact same spot, but just a little bit lower.
      Before you remove the parts after creating the first blueprint and after lowering the middle foundation, you could start making a cross starting from the outside to the middle to see if they can be placed, and if the middle one is in the correct spot as well (and not rotated a littlebit by accident). Is it after you delete what you blueprinted and have to snap it to the remaining structure after lowering the foundation? If that is the case then there can be several reasons. With lowering you need to be careful not to move the foundation too much to one of the sides. The area where you try to make the blueprint isn't flat enough or something is in the way, even corpses of enemies can be the issue.
