About Lexus: Welcome to the official Lexus RUclips channel. This is your front-row seat to the Pursuit of Perfection.
Let all the BMW and Audi fan boys unleash. Let the hate come.
Lmao ooohh the haaatttteee you know they ran back to motor trent after watching this to ease the pain
jackson j Motor Trend's test can be just as credible as this one. Stop being a fanboy, holy fuck.
if your mind is made by just one video, your a complete idiot and should be put down.
RCF is slower , but you'll spend more time driving than sitting in the waiting room at the dealership getting your car fixed if you get the rivals.
Well said! 😂😂👌
whatever.. any car can have problems. but for some reason people believe Toyotas are more reliable. LOL
drdj69 Yeah that reason is called statistics and service data.
+David Lam I have second M3.Fingers crossed, but so far only maintenance visits, free of charge for 4 years btw
No, with the Toyota RC-F you will be waiting for recall service. Or wait for another settlement check from Toyota.
Just got a RCF last week. It's better than expected in every way. The engine & transmission are spectacular. If you aren't a lover after driving it for a week or two, the Lexus quality will make you one after a few years.
Watch the Motortrend review, the M4 is faster, 2 second gap is an insane difference .
Lexus calls their lawyer: "How can we say we'er faster?"
Lawyer to Lexus: "Just arrange a test and have the RC F be faster...after all, humans are the drivers and they can easily make errors...so you can get sued for misleading the consumer!"
Lexus: Hm, that is brilliant! tah tah!
Lawyer: Tah tah! Oh, wait! remember to deposit for consultation. k, bye, thx!
I like Lexus but these videos are just stupid and below Lexus, unless they are desperate. There are many different car magazines and car channels that compare these cars against each other almost every year and many of them use pro drivers to test the cars. And suddenly Lexus is TWO seconds faster than M4 on a very short track? That when other H2H tests have shown M4 as the faster car, not to mention with much better mpg.
And oversteer for an Audi? Don't you mean understeer?
it was tested by AMCI not Lexus..
Then it has to be in AMCIs channel not in LEXUS channel. if bmw and Audi had to put videos like this in there channels it will be never ending videos of good reviews about the M4 and RS5. Lexus is just a wannabe sports car trying really hard to compete with the Germans.
AMCI is an independent testing company, Lexus cropped that video from a long version video made by AMCI.
Habitashi Link?

Wow on a channel called "Lexus vehicles" the Lexus won how surprising. However when motortrend tested them, the m4 was the clear winner and faster on the track.
Clear winner? The M4 was fraction of a second faster and was harder to handle at the limit. Another driver, another time and the RC-F would have won.
natnut2008 I think he means 'clear winner' as a total package. And yes, faster on track when they tested it.
I haven't driven either car so can't really comment on which one has 'better balance' or 'sharper throttle response' like others have blindly claimed on here but there is a clear winner when it comes to noise. We will need more independent track testing of the RC F to see where it stands amongst it rivals.
that depends on the driver.. both cars were well balanced
Simply Awesome!!!!! Thanks to Justin Bell and Lexus!!!
The Pursuit of Perfection!!!!
Bro You getting paid by LEXUS? what is Awesome about this video?
WTF, their paying people to say nice things now ?
drdj69 k nước 99oyoyttttqp
Auto journalists from the well known magazines don't/can't tell the truth because a. their impression of a car is hugely influenced by brand reputation and public perception, etc. b. they feel enormous pressure to follow the norm rather than against it due to concerns about loss of readership, and most importantly c. these journos just aren't competent enough as drivers to assess a car's performance. AMCI is an independent vehicle testing organisation with professional drivers and for this reason these people deserve more credibility than any journalists out there.
Man that outcome was sure unexpected.
Lmfao. The moment I saw Lexus posted this I spat out my water lmao
AMCI is an independent testing company so it is nit advertaisment
AMCI is an independent enterprise... It is outsourced by Lexus to make this video which is in my opinion accurate.
Amazing cars!! But my favorite is the Lexus!
The look of the RC F I like more than the Audi and BMW
lexus this is such cheap advertising for your own cars. STOP IT
Racing around El Toro [a runway] in Orange County, there real tracks in SoCal why not go to them to test.
2 seconds on a 84 second course? Seriously, make it more plausible so it's not blatantly obvious the results aren't bogus.
RCF IS SO AMAZING IN EVERY WAY
"the most balanced of the 3"
Sounds fair to me
LEXUS RC F IS VERY GOOD CAR
I love the three cars but the best for enjoy the drive is the BMW hehe
It is not true. Check nordschleife lap times. Lexus has no chance with m4. It is an advertisement
Well yeah, it is coming from the Lexus channel. So sad for Lexus, they have to resort to this kind of nonsense
lol what an unbiased review....
Lexus my like car👍👍👍👍
Love the lexus itll hold its value well after the 200k miles u push into it
Really Lexus? Clearly you paid this guy to say the RCF wins everywhere. If you had truly built a great vehicle you wouldn't need to lie about it, you would just do an honest review. Disappointed in you Lexus.
I can see when motortrend tests lexus i mean any lexus they just insult lexus i think they hate lexus you check for your self
Agreed
I am a Toyota lover! But it seem like Toyota fading away from manual transmission and sticking with paddle shift. And because of the reason, i would pick the m4 because of manual shift. Sorry about my broken English!
Interesting...but I guess we would draw some conclusions after another 2 "independent" reviewers.
I will still choose the BMW M4 ! 😉😃
I enjoyed your video.
I think in over all value it's the better option my friend's girl friend bought him the car for Christmas, at first I thought the Lexus front look kind of funny at first glance because of the Nike check head lights but if you stare at it for a long time or have have it the look will grown on to you. As for handling the car is like a gt 86 on steroids aka the successor to the a6. The car is quick on its feet and while turning, and the reason why it's better value because the car and packages are there unlike the bmw and the expensive audi rs5 like GPS and driver assist and cmon it's Toyota the creator of the great lfa
I mean...where are the comments on the other cars? isn't the RC-F like 400 pounds heavier? how? Lexus USA please...
The lexus is the most planted car of the three. Mainly because of its weight...Tje seem goes with the gtr its big and heavy butt with a good reason to putt the car as stabil on the road as possible. So that the lexus is faster does not come as a suprise to me..
it's an ad, not clear people can not see driver's efforts of each cars.
what did just happen, i think this wasn't a fare review. I little bit buyouts and seriously blurred details. I like the RC, but you dont just come on and beat the M4 in a 1.45 minutes review
Bunch of German car Fanboys!
okay lexux, RC is a great car and i do like it a lot, but im also an Audi fanboy, so this video is an insult. had this been just a BMw Vs RCF I'd side with japan, but no car can ever be better than Audi. Period.
lol ... coming from a Lexus channel.
If only the RC-F went to the gym...
In similar terms, Lexus, make it lighter
Lol i wonder how much lexus paid for the them :)
Yes Lexus is the best !!!
German cars " best cars in the world " always need PARTS, and more PARTS and service , even new takes huge cost to maintain ,
Lexus must be truly desperate to post those videos... In the category of people buying those cars, it can only raise a question whether the rest Lexus is saying about their cars is trustworthy.
this is literally the first video i have ever seen of an rcf winning a race lol ive been looking for atleast 1 vid of a rcf winning a a drag race/street race and there is literally none lol ive watched the rcf lose to Camaros, M4, c63, audi rs5, it even lost to an isf lmfao
In all the other mags BMW comes in first and Lexus comes last.
JDM Rules 🔰
lol this wasn't staged at all....
Put the these cars on the Nurburgring and see how the fat Lexus does compared to the M4.
It's already Track proven, getting second place overall in the GT500 which competed against NSX and the GTR. Only lost 2 points behind a GTR. I think it compares plenty.
ImMikoFreako I don't know why you are trying to question my intellect, but if you use some basic internet research techniques, you can find out for yourself.
simmerdown a track car is totally different from the stock car...
the m4 does 7:52 on the ring, i bet the RC-F cant even break 8 min time
kazeforce I know that, but it's still the same chassis and engine.
Biased review.. why would TOYOTA LEXUS post this if they were going to loose. Check out other reviews and you'll see.
this is rediculous
Nhac hai ngoai
This video made me buy an M4, Thank you LexusVehicles!
Hope its still runnin
Lies Lies ! the Lexus Understeers like a mofo. The Bimma is the TRUE WINNER !
That's right biatches!!! Lexus is #1!!!
carla an expert has spoken, get back to the kitchen now
ImMikoFreako What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?
Here is the ONLY place the RCF won. Every single comparison out there the BMW destroys the Lexus.
I will give it to the M4 that it is faster... if you can handle it. The M4 also doesn’t forgive you if you’re not extremely skilled and I’m not. I just couldn’t reign in the M4 like I could the RC-F. The dct is jerky and that turbo can kick in and upset the car in the corners which makes for 180 spins. The RC-F has a higher skill floor than the M4, but a lower skill ceiling.
So I got the RC-F because i can drive it better than the M4. Don’t kid yourself if you think you can really handle the M4 cuz that thing fed me humble pie.
@@entritur Good post and I would agree with you on all accounts. The biggest issue - for me, with the entire Lexus lineup, and I have owned Lexus's for well over 20 years, is their very poor driver interaction. Control placement is horrible. Their nav is horrible. Seats are marginal at best with limited adjustments. Just no real engineering behind their products. They just slap their stuff together, like the RC-F, which explains why it is so heavy. Again, lack of real engineering. I still have 2 Toyota products - Tundra and GX470. GX has been reliable, other 6 Lexus's have been all over with one losing it's motor. All had issues well before their time. And still, the new 2021 Lexus lineup, a rehash of old tech, nothing new, and again, no real engineering. Bean counters have too much control over engineering at Toyota.
@@leedye6687 That's an interesting perspective I hadn't considered. I had came from an 06 350z I bought brand new and prior that was driving mustangs and etc... I was considering the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger Scat Pack... but I am getting up in my years and wanted to step up to a higher segment (Though the mustang is definitely nothing to scoff at) so I started looking at the Merc C63 AMG, M4, RS5, and it was just random happenstance I learned the RC-F even existed. I went straight out to test the m4 thinking that was the straight business, but again the story above it kicked my rear. The RC-F is kind of a nice introduction to this segment and I tend to drive my cars to their graves (200k miles on that Z). I am sure eventually I will give that car a go again once I really get my mind around them. Whether by design or chance, this car does fit nicely into the starter category here. Not quite a GT car and not quite a Sports car. Things like infotainment, nav, and seats aren't exactly a major concern (350z interior we are talking) but I will concede the features are a bit useless to me. The merc was a bit like the M4 only less refined and the RS5 just felt boring as mud. I respect your opinion though and honestly they should put this hog on a diet, it could use some real engineering to get it to a better point, but probably should maintain a method to keep it... controllable
@@entritur I'm shopping for a new daily, and the RC-F is on the list, along with all of the usual suspects. I much prefer a V8 to FI, but need to drive them all. I like how unique the RC-F is, vs a 3 series (which is my current daily, and actually has been very reliable). Shall see what I end up with.
@@leedye6687 I don't want to dissuade you from the RC-F, if you have an M3 you may be up to spec to handle an M4. The C63 AMG and RC-F are really the two picks here though if you like a v8, I just worry about the Hot-V setup of the C63 worries me and historically Hot-Vs typically burned oil because of turbo placement. The Merc has a really good punchy low end whereas the naturally aspirated RC-F is fairly tame down low, but after 4k it's pretty angry. Enjoy shopping this segment and give a Mustang GT with the 10 speed a try as well as it isn't a slouch. As a daily I would say the GT and the RC-F are fairly comfortable (300 mile trip from Dallas and my back didn't hurt in the RC-F). I get 25-27 MPG when I am running around in ECO mode. Have fun with the car shopping, it was a fun for me.
Lexus testing BMW and Audi against Lexus ._. come on
Big ol lexus V8! M4 sounds like a turd
This is why lexus loses credibility, paying for this sort of "review" (advertisement). Makes you wonder what Toyota paid for reviews in consumer report and kelly blue book
wait! hold on! ....even if the M4 is faster, how fast are all you bimmer loyalists going to be going when you power steering goes, your timing chain falls apart, your engine starts leaking for no apparent reason, and your software just decides to fail whenever it wants!
Oh yeah! BMW, the "ultimate driving machine!"**
**disclaimer: most driving will be done while entering into our service center
And, besides, why do you want to drive so fast??!!! Last I checked you can't go over 65 anyway!! Don't be negligent! You might just end up in jail!
+peace73 I'm not a BMW Fan, But are you sure BMW Has these Problems ?? I haven't heard anything about BMW Having problem like you Stated ? I thought all cars today have permanent Timing Chains,
Bmw nice, but cant measure to lexus
Give me one :/)
Why delete my feedback Lexus folks? Can't handle the truth?
ruclips.net/video/i9A3eY8PRtQ/видео.html
The truth? lol ...look at the video you posted again, the guys at Motor Trend opted for the carbon ceramic brakes on the M4, the RC F didnt but those options are available. So that you know, there are factory carbon fiber hood and roof options for the Lexus RC F too. When doing a Head 2 Head at least make sure both cars are equally equipped... Truth is, you have been fooled by Motor Trend, even with a better equipped M4 only a third of a second separate these cars lol
Speaking about "truth" again... In the video you posted the guy says no coupe should weight as much as the Lexus RC F around 3900 pounds considering the M4 is approximately 3500 pounds, even though only a third of a second separate the 2 cars on track, RC F without carbon ceramic brakes lol ...you should check the weight of the Merc C63 AMG and the heavier Audi RS5 ...no big difference compare to the RC F:)
to make it even worse, looking at the Motor Trend comparison specs, besides the CC Brakes, the M4 had Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres on. I though that every RC F comes standard with the MPSS tyres but seems not as stated in the Motor Trend specs, the RC F had Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Though the Potenza is a good alternative to the MPSS, the latter is by far the superior tyre. So the M4 which as reported in the Motor Trend video is the better car on the track had CC brakes, SUPER handling/grip/responsiveness/sport tyres on but only 0.3 seconds separated it from the less equipped RC F on track and they still give the M4 the winner?? looks like some people had a soft spot for the M4 from the beginning

I"d like 1:45 minutes of my life back please. I think they call this "fake news."
Yes of course, to the eye of an "RS5 fanatic".
Yeah NOPE. The RC-F is a slow outdated car.
RCF is a better daily driver car if that’s what you care about.
Lexus aka Toyota need to build a real sport car please!!!
BMW power lexus looks like a toy
