Hello bro, please I made error in my application. I answered the question on how did you applied for your postgraduate programme incorrectly. I wrote through applicants portal instead of UCAS. I hope this will not affect my application

I applied for this year of scholarship, I just received the results today. Just like you I thought the maximum amount for 4 years.
I still remember how hopeless I was when I first look at the question, and I would definitely not have gone that far if I didn't see your video and have a general direction for my own answers.
I consider myself a terrible terrible writer, so I never thought that I would have a chance getting it. I show it to a bunch of people and I do a bunch of fix and spend roughly 30hs of work on it.
I know. This may sound a bit exaggerated, but it's definitely a life changing events for me. And I would really like to thank you a lot.

Hey nadia, is there any marks required for applying for the think big scholarship? As I am thinking to apply for the same uni and i havent yet graduated from high school which is grade 12 and for applying is 80% in 10th grade and 11th good enough?
Hi! Based on the research I did when I was applying, they have never mentioned anything about minimum marks required to be eligible for the Think Big Scholarship. My suggestion would be to just apply and refine your essay as much as possible. Good luck!
This video just randomly popped up in my feed, and I watched it out of pure curiosity, lol. We applied in the same cycle, but I got 5k instead :P. Now I realize that I should have been a bit more specific regarding why I chose Bristol. Frankly, I feel like I failed my college application and wasted my potential, feel guilty for making my parents pay for my tuition. I made a mistake by not applying to South/East Asia more than I did because I had the credentials (3A*, SAT 1480) but didn’t have a clue about funding opportunities at HK unis, NUS, NTU, etc. There are so many capable students in my country (Kazakhstan), but they don’t have the proper guidance to achieve their goals, and neither did I.
Hi! First of all, getting 5k is good too!!! And yes, it is unfortunate that a lot of students in miss out on opportunities because they aren't aware of it, but don't beat urself up for it. :))

Hi, it does not have to be an essay answer. Your answer is completely okay. I think the university just want students to consider how they will fund their studies since the scholarship does not cover 100% tuition fee.

Hi, I think it depends on the context and how you potray it. If you had a significant health problem, and explain what u learnt from that, it could be relevant. Otherwise, sports and volunteering works better in my opinion.

I usually just leave my essay for 1-2 days then try to reword them to make it more concise. Also, yes, feel free to send it to my email!

@@abdulrahimnaser Hello, I just checked my email and I actually submitted it very early. I submitted my application on 8 Jan 2022, and the deadline was 28 March. But again, I should say that the quality of your essay will most probably matter more than the time you submit your application.

Hi! UK uni applications are done through UCAS and for the scholarship, you can always find info on them from the university websites.

I already secured unconditional offer but i made little error in my think big scholarship application, i answered the section where they asked how did you applied for postgraduate sessions incorrectly. I wrote through applicants portal instead of UCAS. I hope this will not impact my application?

Hello! The Think Big Scholarship does not offer a full scholarship. What I got was the highest amount they could offer. I suggest you to check out the University of Bristol Website to get accurate and updated information on the scholarship (www.bristol.ac.uk/international/fees-finance/scholarships/).

When selecting options for the awards, do you think it’s better to choose the full scholarship amount or choose the other option?
Can you clarify your question please? Are you applying or got offered two scholarships? I didn't have a full scholarship option when I applied
@@nadventuresI have the same question as him. What he’s asking is on the schorlaship option it says to pick either to be considered for all awards (£6500,13000 and 26000 awards) or just the £ 26000 award. So which one would you advise us to choose.
@@mwakamweezymwansa500 Oh I see, I think the admissions officer wanted to gauge whether you are willing to accept lower offers. My guess is that some students cannot afford the tuition fee if they do not get a certain amount, or they already have another scholarship offer, so they plan to reject the offer if they get a low amount. The university might have realised this and decided to add that question so that if your qualifications grant you a lower amount, but you do not want a lower amount, they will not give you an offer. Choose based on your own situation :)

I have few more and very important and confusing questions i am facing first one is english is not my first language so english language course is necessary for admission and also if course is necessary then which course they demand?
Second one is first we apply on university portal choose course and send application and university give us student id no and than we can apply for think big scholarship my question is if university reject application still we get think big scholarship or not? Because in application its mention that university will inform you in two to three days
1) Usually, it's IELTS/TOEFL; unless you studied an international curriculum and took a higher level english subject. You'll need to check the website for exact details
2) if university reject application, you will not get the scholarship

@@shireenmallah7373 Yes, they don't require. I've rechecked the website and it stated that there are only 2 requirements that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for scholarship application: 1) be an international student and 2) have applied to University of Bristol. Hope this helps!

I think they will be the personal statement too. For me last time, I did repeat some things, but I tried to introduce as much new content as possible too. I think it's good to repeat the things you want to highlight too.

Hi! That's very unfortunate 🥲 Since you've applied alr, there isn't really much suggestion I can give. Usually those who hv good grades but no extracurriculars would apply to unis that put more emphasis on grades, or try to improve their UCAS essay to package themselves well.
@@nadventures I have leadership experience such as being class monitor and school assistant leader and have take part in sports , arts and club activities but none of them as any certificates..so does it count and all of this is during my high school ( I'm from India and we have higher secondary here ) and doesn't have any extracurriculars during secondary education due to pandemic
@@shereenarmy3079 Experiences without certificates count too! Make sure to include those experiences in your essays and elaborate on what they've taught you or how they inspire you.
