I know they say you shouldn’t compare boxers from different eras, but I think JCC certainly had enough skill that in his prime he’d be able to be a star and compete with people from the 70s, 2000s and 2010s!
Yea the only fighters that shouldn't be compared are the real old ones from like the 1930s and 40s although I grew up worshipping those legends like Robinson and Willie pep and Armstrong they are just too damn old in boxing style and technique that they can't really compare to fighters from the 70s and 80s. In my opinion the best Era will always be the 80s and 90s though, they are just a different level of skill and toughness at the same time and they all were cold hearted fighters (hit you low right back if you do it first and then push you if you complain to the ref).
