Mark Riddell would be a good fight, but I bet Parker is looking for softer targets or to cash out in a unification match before taking that chance. The only champ that might go there is AJ, if he beats Klitchko. Ortiz is the mandatory for the winner of that bout. My fear is that Ortiz is already going to be over the hill. At his age, the difference between 2 years ago and 2 years from now is huge in boxing.

Id be really keen to see him against Wilder. All the main contenders have something different to bring. Fury has size, Klitchko discipline, Joshua power. Hopefully some fingers are pulled out and this lot start actually fighting.

I agree. Too much cancelling and cherry picking. It's easy to understand why Joshua and Parker are being brought along carefully because they are young and keep improving but over the next few years they are going to have to fight the most prominent challengers. One problem is too many World Champion Belts. Determine one legitimate unified champ and let the others earn their way. None of them will be considered true champ by most of the fans until they have beaten active fighters like Joshua, Parker, Wilder, and last but not least Luis Ortiz. Who knows if or when Tyson Fury will re-emerge.

The man can box and go to war. Dangerous fighter. Difference between him and Wilder is that when he throws his big shots, he doesn't lose balance, watch his footwork in the highlights, very similar to AJ, throws accurate, clean, tight shots without exposing themselves too often.
Guys with true power and boxing know how don't need to expose themselves on a regular basis during a fight like Wilder does who basically goes in blind and almost with a run up to generate the same amount of power, unlike Ortiz and AJ who hit just as hard but through textbook perfection, guys who have true back and shoulders and the legs to boot are formidable with their power when they know how to use it.
Wilder can learn from these guys but he will lose to Ortiz if tries to go to war against someone who can trade and counter expertly, only way to best Ortiz, like AJ, is to box and move and know when to trade before backing up and going in again.
Quite simply, Wilder isn't smart enough and school begins with Ortiz. It's the reason he never fought WK, he can't deal with guys who have brain and brawn at elite level.
Big Respect to the Ortiz, the only man apart from a fit Fury who can truly trouble AJ.

Undisputed top 3 heavyweight boxer of the world. This guy is absolutely dangerous, I won't even want my favourite heavyweight to fight him. He wins Parker no debating for me. He is the true test of Dental Wilder; the winner of that bout faces AJ for an all-out heavyweight classic. Heavyweight boxing is back in its glory
