    At 6' 6" tall, the Klitschko brothers always started with an advantage over their opponents, but at 6' 9" Fury negated that and along with his sizable weight advantage and conditioning he got a well-earned win here. Despite this loss, I admire both Klitschkos as 2 of the greatest and highest class fighters to ever enter the ring.

      Klitschko should have known to turn it into a fight, roughen things up and try landing. He had what it took. Maybe age played a part too.
      Fury is incredible. He is big (very big), mobile and quite fast. He has a great chin too. To take Fury down, it would require a big guy who has dynamite in both hands-AJ fits the description-and who can roughen things up. AJ needs to scale the Usyk obstacle first (or go out).

    • @pleasegrowabrain
      @pleasegrowabrain 5 лет назад +8

      William Varner Had Fury fought this way against Wilder, he would have probably sustained permanent brain injury. Fury didn’t throw a single decent punch at Klitschko; his punches were all looping slaps. He looked a lot better punching-wise (and perhaps movement too) in his last fight against Tom Swarz - admittedly less capable than either Klitschko or Wilder. Fury is supposed to fight again this fall at Madison Square Garden against an as yet unspecified opponent. I hope it’s against a fighter who can really test him and require him to continue to hone his boxing skills, conditioning and punching power. Wilder has been improving his boxing skills and obviously has a devastating right hand, so if Fury is to have a legitimate chance against him, Fury is going to need to stay focused on his conditioning and his management had better choose a big man who can box AND punch. The fight against Swarz only showed Fury can lose weight, since Swarz landed just one punch on Fury in the entire contest. One thing is certain, it won’t be a boring fight - either Wilder knocks him out, or loses a decision to him while trying to knock him out the whole time.

    • @jayden_2954

    • @pleasegrowabrain
      @pleasegrowabrain 5 лет назад +3

      Jayden James Swarz got knocked out by Fury and never fought Klitschko or Wilder. Either one would have definitely knocked him out - in Wilder’s case likely within the first few seconds of the opening round. So what are you talking about? Read my original post. Swarz was obviously not an important tune up for Fury’s rematch with Wilder. Again, if Fury doesn’t develop meaningful punching power, I think he’s going to have big problems with Wilder. Fury needs to stop with the looping, slapping goofiness and start consistently throwing straight, hard punches. That’s what I’m “on about”.
