Took me like 30 attempts and I barely got it
It took me 3 days of non-stop trying on "give me god of war," wearing the armor of Zeus to beat her. It required a perfect run.

@@Bruvuii I believe it is called glaive storm. It’s by far the best heavy runic attack for the axe both in single target and AOE

A real challenge would have been to count how many times Mimir says 'lad'
So as to why there was Greek stuff in Tyr's Vault, he went around the world and was gifted things from various cultures. Including Greece. The desert land mentioned, is actually Egypt.

When Atreus said “It smells like rotten eggs” and asked if it was still good, Kratos says “possibly”. In Greek Mythology Aphrodite cursed all the women on the island to smell horrible because they rejected her shrines. The smell made its way into to foods and drinks too. So the wine was most likely still good, it just smelled bad.
Huh that's a funny way to explain why some food smell bad but taste good. Though in my case it almost always smell bad taste bad

That drinking scene reminds me of my dad trying to make me drink beer for the first time. The part Atreus drinks but definitely doesn't like the taste, and Kratos showing him how to drink it (chugging it down). What a relatable father-son moment.

One thing you should know:
In areas that you can only visit once, and then lose access to after completion, there are rare items or abilities that you can't go back for if you miss them.
However, you can still get them from Broc and Sindri. I think it's the menu option on the furthest right.

Whenever you see a fast travel door interact with and it will fully refill your health and rage, even if you don't actually travel with them. Same in the next game, too

The gimmick of that last fight is that the two trolls share health bars, where one trades health to balance his buddy’s if you focus on one

Kara is the only one that summons enemies, but as a result, she is also the one with the lowest health. And also, the devs thought that the blades were gonna be weak against Valks since they’re more crowd control oriented, so they actually have a 15% damage buff against them. Which actually made them the best against them if you use certain combos.
Tip for fighting valkyries:
At the very start rush up to them and start attacking. They are vulnerable to free hits as they open up their wings to take their fighting stance.

Glaive storm. Probably my favourite runic attack from 2018, love watching the axe fly around and clear an entire room of enemies.
Couple of tips Matty! Use the blades with the hellwalkers, makes huge diference. Also spare resources to upgrade more endgame armors, you would need all the help with the valkyries
Love this series. Mati won’t get it all done in time for Shadow or the Erd Tree and that’s okay. I would rather see this series reach its end with all Valkyries defeated before the next one begins. The Valkyries will be sufficient training for the undoubtably tough bosses of the Elden Ring DLC.
You’re well over half way through GOW (2018). Would love Episode 10 this weekend, Mati bro. It’ll be a side-quest episode. Might even save the third and final dragon before delving into the rest of the story.
FYI, the level on the axe and the level on the blades don't only affect the weapon itself. Leveling them up just increases your stats, which give multipliers on everything you do. Blade level increases the damage of runic attacks on both the axe and the blades, and the axe level increases the damage of regular attacks on both weapons, as well as fists.

I love when he asks "can i turn into an animal" it really just shows such child like innocence like when we wished to have flight or invinsibilty as a child. But kratos never had the opportunity to have child like innocence so hes stunned and surprised that he didnt think of power or strength but just fun

Mati- the axe skill that says to hit R1 after a delay: stand still and hit R1. Kratos will swing the axe, then after a brief pause, he takes a different stance where he holds the axe more behind him. This is the different stance to perform the other axe moves…either R1 or R2, depending on what you have unlocked.

Oh man! Is the plot getting thicker, or what? Kratos sharing the wine, teaching Atreus about the responsibility of being a god, giving him the knife and letting a bit of emotion showing as well. Asking his son not to do the same mistakes and to be better us heartbreaking.

If ya haven’t figured out the switch stances yet, you just have to pause after an attack. Kratos will visibly switch up his stance, then your attack will change to the new combos. You just have to sit still for a sec.
He did it multiple times in the episode, probably didn't notice though.
