Sir i had my stapedectomy surgery 3 weeks ago.. but my ear is deaf now and tinnitus sound in the ear.
Should i wait for sometime to see some hearing improvent?
Edit :- it was unfortunate case of mine as I totally lost my hearing after the surgery in right ear. Dr. Said it's 2% chance if this surgery comes out to be a failure and unfortunately I fell under those 2%.
My right ear was 50% down before surgery but now it's completely dead and I cant do anything about it.

I bet u had cotton batting padding the ear to protect it in healing after the surgery. In a few months time the dr will take out all the cotton and u should be able to hear better than ever, true story happened to myself
