Eeeeh, I actually never even expected any content during the tour, apart from maybe short reels what's going on on the tour (the day only has 24 hours and tour manager is basically doing 20 things at once). 😅 Who cares, everyone will still be there, when you come back. Have fun on the tour Tank! I'm sure, it will be a blast!
I know it might be hard to fit into the schedule of the tour, but I have some recommendations for content you could do on the road with these guys.
I would love some Backlounge Podcast episodes (from the actual Backlounge)
My ideas are as follows:
1) pre tour:
Talking expectations etc for the NA Tour
2) after tour
A general tour recap after the last show
3) production talk
Maybe get Daniel and Pascal on there (they never seem to be on any interviews that I've seen)
Talk audio and video production and so on
4) gear talk
Get the string instrument players on there and nerd all over their gear with them
That's just things I'd like to see, but I fully understand if that's not manageable.
I wish you and the EC guys an absolute blast on the tour, I hope the audience welcomes them properly.

Just came back from Summerbreeze Open Air (2nd biggest metal festival in Germany). I can highly recommend that one to visit once in a lifetime as well.

Yeah, I had my Powerwolf crew friends sending me videos all night and couldn't believe how wild it was. Also got tons of pictures from other bands I know sending me pictures of a "guy" backstage wearing a TankTheTech shirt at all... That guy was Fredrik from Orbit Culture. Hahahaha

I am so happy you're taking care of yourself and honouring your commitment to your family first of all and then the tour management job. Not that I expected anything less from you, your personality truly is what made me stay on this channel (even if I am one of those EC related subscribers 😂). You're just so humble and authentic, it's really fun to see your genuine reaction to things (and well, get all the extra info!). Also just the fact that you're being so transparent and open about the industry and what the job entails? I LOVE that. I am SUCH a nerd for these kinds of insights and you never really get them anywhere. So your channel has been a gift that keeps on giving and you're just a treasure. I have such respect for you and all the other roadies that make the shows happen for those of us that come and watch these bands perform. I think you set your prioties right. Personal health and the family are much more importent than allof us together. I personally would like to see a video afterwards with a summary of a few backstage scenes that happend (not only during the show but also before or after a show) It mustn`t be the best quality. But I think you can explain that in a type of documentary some time after the tour, when everything is calmed down. Would glad to get som insides of all the things that happend behind the wall.

Whats frustrating is that i had tickets for Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Ky before they cancelled. And this tour didnt schedule them cities. So still am not able to see them live.

trust me, you don't wanna go there. How that festival kept it's mythical reputation is beyond me. 2003 was probably the last decent edition . It went all mainstream after that. Divide price by quality and it's bottom league if there were a european metal festival tier.

I, personally, don't think “going mainstream” is a bad thing, the metal community is one of the most open and accepting there is.
I think its a good thing to reach more people with "our" typ of music, and also get exposed to more different kinds of music that one usually does not listen to.

It's so exciting to hear you talk about all the tour prep, I can't believe it's already starting like... this week? I'm traveling to the Toronto show with my BFF and then travel back to Montreal first thing Monday morning for the Montreal show x) we'll have our "we got the moves" costumes for Toronto and we have VIPs for both shows 😁 it's been a while since I've been that invested in a "new" band, it's going to be so much fun! The only thing is that we were supposed to get in shape and build our cardio this summer, and yeah. Not gonna happen 😂 I really hope we get to see you and say hi!
I hope the Pittsburgh date is badass for you and the tour. I unfortunately wasn’t able to move quick enough to grab tickets for me and the wife before it sold out. I've been to about 2 dozen concerts this year so far, but, other than maybe Sick New World in Vegas, Electric Callboy is BY FAR the one I've been looking forward to the most! I stumbled upon your channel and clicked on your video about Blue Ridge, specifically because you were wearing the EC tour hoodie.
