Gabriola island in our gulf islands has petroglyphs also.
A book about them that I had taken out of the library as a teen probably prevented me from getting arrested one fine evening.
You be careful when your flying out, that runway looks suspect, also your arms will get super tired.

Pretty cool to look at carvings that were made so long ago. I thought that the airport runway was a diving board and ended up going for a swim; thank goodness I was wearing my red bathing suit!

So much wildness! Not wilderness just wildness. A park within a park within a park . . . Until you get to Ivy Patch Gardens and only then are there veggies to eat. The deer are like locals - just shows up wherever LOL! Nice tour! Thanks.

Hi Nonner Nut Noodle fancy meeting you here 🤗💛 Just goes to show that the deer would gobble my whole garden if I didn't have it fenced. That deer was trimming the trees when I was walking by the library 😄

It looks more like a park than an airport loop. Beautiful!

It's a really pretty walk and there is never much traffic on the road 🌲❤️🌿

@@PotatoPeter oh darn, I was probably spacing out 🫢 It was cool to see that buck landscaping the shrubbery by the library!
