I know what you are talking about. I was just saying about people sitting on the train roofs. It has occurred in past but the recent condition are not that bad, yaa but not very good either.
But let me tell you that nothing is gonna happen if we continue to hate are country. Rather we should try to change the condition of the country. Majority of the population of a country is busy in talking about the government fighting about BJP vs Congress. But the reality is that both of the Government and all of the parties currently are doing nothing.
We are ruled by shit leaders which are followed and also prayed by low iq population
I think all of the youth of the country have to take a stand to change the current situation of the country and believe me we have enormous power to do that we are one of the most youngest country in the world and that's the biggest asset we are having.
It might take a little time but it is possible maybe we can make our own party wid zero corruption and zero tolerance to any injustice.
Believe me bitching about the country is not going to take us anywhere we have to take some stand afterall we are the future of the country.

But the problem with dictatorship is that it needs to be of a very wise and genuinely honest person which we generally don't find in our politics. Otherwise it can take a very brutal turn and mild dictatorship would be transformed to a complete and harmful dictatorship for the country. But I find your opinion quite good because if we take a look on majority of population with an unbiased view, we will be able to see that almost no one or a very less fraction of the population actually cares about the country so yes a mild dictatorship can be a good idea and another plus point of the dictatorship is that government can take time to actually develop the country because in democracy whatever you have to do you have to do in 5 years otherwise nobody is going to give you vote in the next elections. But the main problem is that nothing is going to happen by just giving opinions in the comment section of a video. We actually have to do something for the country.
But sometimes I also feel that if we guys actually take a stand to do something for the country then most of the people will not support us and will think of it as a joke by some random people and they will also Scold us by saying "abhi tum bacche Ho tum kuch nahi kar paoge Thode Bade hoge to Pata chalega" and some other bullshit.
Also the ruling party BJP will not appreciate and promote the work of some other new organisation. so yes convincing 1.3 billion people would be a very very hectic task. Obviously it look close to impossible.
If we will ban slum people to have kids then our own people will disagree with that and will say that we are doing injustice to poor people we are against poor people and other bull shit like that so I guess one child policy for slum people would rather be a good idea. But I am pretty sure that these guys are not going to do good with it, as these are living in 19 century they cannot ask for condom any other such things from the shop.
I Agree with you that it is close to impossible, but this does not mean that it cannot be done we just need a quiet sharp and intelligent thinker a very high IQ person to just design the method which can change the country as well as the countrymen, who can make thinking of the country man progressive.

For all of y’all still commenting on “how depressing looking” Nuuk is; this was filmed 9 years ago. And it happened to be a cloudy and grayish day, the day they filmed this. A lot has changed throughout the years; more taller buildings and modern cars and other different things. We do have schools, café/restaurants, beauty salons, clothing stores, movie theater and other things u can think of :)

I am pretty sure it is not the city itself that looks depressing to most, it is the overcast sky, obvious cold and lack of greenery. Sure, it was filmed on an overcast day ... but Nuuk has far more overcast and partly cloudy days than sunny days ... and that is true throughout the year, not only winter. The city itself seems fairly nice.

The fault line under the Atlantic ocean is converging which is far less likely to create an earthquake and there isn't a large enough difference in temperature in the air for hurricanes to form. The cold temperatures are the only real danger they face.

I was born in Greenland but I lived in Manitoba Canada. I moved here to Canada 3 years ago. In Greenland it's not bad at all! We just sometimes prefer a simple life. It may be grey but there is a lot of nice culture snowmans and more things you can learn about!

Back then when settlers were first coming to Greenland, they saw that it wasnt green at all and just called it that to trick people into coming and settling there, because when they decided to move to greenland, they saw it was grey but they couldnt move back :)

I am so grateful this is here, I miss my home dearly and it sadness me so many has no idea what Greenland is or simply call it depressing. I bet where people come from, the wheather isn’t always flattering, just like in this vid, might be the most unflattering state to film in. After visiting some of the cities of Canada's far north, I'd be interested to visit Nuuk as well. I always knew it existed but never knew it was this sizeable (15,000+ people), almost comparable to Whitehorse and Yellowknife.
Travelling to other parts of the world should involve seeing cultures completely different than your own, right? I find the Inuit culture fascinating.
If you want to see a very large artic city you should look up Murmansk, Russia its almost as northern and has a population of 300 000

Depressing for some yes, especially at this time of the year. Imagine, summer time. Ive seen it, been there, its beautiful. Summer and winter are amazing opposite experiences, just like black and white. Its the grey area when switching from summer to winter thats not so great, all the grey weather and melting ice and snow with water everywhere. But its worth it.
Double edged sword for me. It never gets dark for months and then it never gets light for months. That's definitely not for everyone. I have spent one year north of the Arctic circle and it was driving me crazy already. I never knew how much I missed the sun until it was gone. And then I never knew how much I missed dark nights so I could sleep until the sun never set. I guess people adjust, but it's hard. At least it was for me. We had a countdown to when the sun would come back. Every morning we would look out the window and watch the sun on the mountain nearby come lower and lower until we could finally see the sun itself for a few seconds one day. Werid experience.
@@politicallycorrectredskin796 same thing for me living in Amsterdam, always the same amount of daylight and night, I got confused what season it actually was. How I missed the long summer days and sleeping on the long winter nights

@@aggi999 Have you actually lived in Holland? Shortest day is just under 8 hours between sun up/sun under. Longest day around 17 hours. More than twice as long and when you live away from cities you can see light at the northern horizon at 2 in the morning in summer time.
@@pelvis_assley It doesn't get hot! I seriously dislike summer. Too hot. Sun too bright, it hurts my eyes. I think I'd like Greenland , the climate.

I landed in Nuuk many times when fishing in Greenland, a beautiful place with beautiful friendly people, love to get back to that fish market again & get a fresh chunk of the seal meat

What a beautiful place. I mean, the people living there might get sick of the cold weather; but to me, that is a beauty to behold. It looks peaceful and disconnected from the troubles of the planet.

Nice - I've been to Tasilaq and Kulusuk in East Greenland so it's pretty cool to see this other side, the more cosmopolitan side of Greenland....

Wow... such a ??? I do not want to go there. To me, it looks bleak. I like color. Except for the slight variation of colors on the very uniform houses, everything looks white, shades of grey and maybe hints of something that looks vaguely green in the water and rocks. To each their own... I suppose.

@@peternesbitt Maybe they don't have it so good. Maybe they do. There are a lot of folks who live in beautiful places, with lots of money, but they're miserable. I'll bet there are some folks in Nuuk who are very happy and they're laughing at us knuckleheads living in nice big houses with lots of stuff to get distracted by.
Amazing. More amazing is the obvious lineage between these peoples and those on the other side of the Bering land bridge. The physical resemblance to peoples of some northern Japanese islands is not unnoticed by me.
