this is literally the best transmission design filter hands down, no questions asked, why everyone doesn't use this is a crime, no wonder the allisons last so long
The piece that fell off was the magnet that helps collect metal shaving it looked like you didn't put it back on and next time always punch a hole in the bottom of the filter so it can drain, less mess when taking the filter off. you do not have to add fluid to that filter.
Mann we suppose to be brothers (In my menace to society voice) But I had my truck in the same shop as u guys they told me the problem act like they didn't want to fix it took it to another place and I'm back rolling. Hope you guys got back on the road. All the love fam and stay safe on the road.
How many miles is a half truck and you still own it? If you sold it how many miles do they have when you sold it? Does it have Eton fuller transmission or Allison?
You can change it but you do not have to, that filter is suppose to be good for like 1million miles and change during a transmission overhaul. His truck barely has over 280k miles it's still a almost like new ;)
So don't buy that strap to untighten or tighten? My light came on and need to change it asap. Also, my upside-down triangle light is on and so is my ECON light...I thought the upside-down triangle light was an exhaust issue?
No get a different filter wrench if it's too tight to remove by hand. The econ light saves on gas the switch is on the right of the gear shift to turn it off and on. That triangle can be for different things but if the display says trans oil filter the triangle should go away when you complete the sequence in the video.
I've got a 2016 International 4300. Changed the filter but couldn't get the code to reset. Truck turned off, key in it, brake not pressed. Am I doing something wrong with the reset?
How long have you had ur truck looking to buy one but a lot of ppl telling me to stay away from the internationals if they don’t have a Cummins engine wanted to get ur views since u actually own one ☝🏾
Yes, it has a drain plug as well. It takes about 5 gallons of transmission fluid. When we took it to be serviced we were told they don't drain all the fluid out because it will "shock the system". Now how true that is idk. So now we just change the filter and add fluid as needed. Now if the fluid starts to look too dark we will put all new fluid.
The truck is going to do that because it is set up by how many miles you drive. No matter if you changed the filter before it came on. If you recently changed it, just reset it like we did and you good to go.
Guys can you plz tell me how far can you drive once that light comes on. I'm stuck 90 miles away from Albuquerque on a truck stop. Kinda afraid to drive that far.

😂😂 Good video bro and thanks but how often do we need to change the other trans filter?
The larger square one in the trans pan
Dude was funny as hell under the truck talking about it don't fit.... haha ... good video!
Perfect timing. My light just came on. Guess I’ll be changing it during my reset.

Great video! Super helpful please bring more videos for maintenance on the truck, I'm having issues with cargo box lamps
How many miles is a half truck and you still own it? If you sold it how many miles do they have when you sold it? Does it have Eton fuller transmission or Allison?
The transmission also has an internal filter that needs to be changed. You have to drop the pan
Thanks for the info! ✊🏾

Great video. Thank you for posting. I'll be doing my transmission next week. Do you know how to clear all the fault codes?
We wish!
With the engine on and truck in park go to Neutral, Park ,neutral ,park neutral, park and the check trans oil filter light will go off …
That was such a big help.
How many gas tanks do you international have
Both of ours have one 70 gallon tank.
Hey brother, what’s the part number for the filter?
HF35296
Appreciate it bro 💯
💪🏾💪🏾
Great job, what’s wrong with the other truck
We got it back yesterday, we'll have a breakdown of the issues and the cost real soon.
@@TruckinginJs ok
Same problem I'm having right now, same exact truck😁 question, do you think it'll be ok for a few days til I can get it fixed?
Put it to you this way and I know you posted 9 months ago...Ive done over 1000 miles with that light on...lol...changing tomorrow though...lol
Brooooooooo that shit worked!!!!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Where did you buy the oil
The international dealership
Getting the same brand bro . Does this truck have a lot of problem? Mines come with a Cummins engine
No we haven't had any engine problems.
for this particular tranny there's no drain plug? Just drain it through the filter?
Yes, it has a drain plug as well. It takes about 5 gallons of transmission fluid. When we took it to be serviced we were told they don't drain all the fluid out because it will "shock the system". Now how true that is idk. So now we just change the filter and add fluid as needed. Now if the fluid starts to look too dark we will put all new fluid.
Not the transmission filter it is located in the pan
How long did you take before changing the filter ?because mine just showed up yesterday and I have to order the parts for it it will arrive Monday
We drove a few days before we were able to change it.
@@TruckinginJs thank you brother
@@TruckinginJs and do you have a website to buy the fluid ?
No we got it from the international dealer just to make sure we were getting the right kind.
How much fluid do we need to add ,,
changed my filter light still came on
The truck is going to do that because it is set up by how many miles you drive. No matter if you changed the filter before it came on. If you recently changed it, just reset it like we did and you good to go.
I did do that with the shifter the way you did, but it styill comes on and i lose power all the time. Will try again, thanks for getting back to me.
Question 🙋 what type is engine they have ?
6.7L Cummins
@@TruckinginJs it’s not max force right because max force gives lots of problems.
Right. That's what we've heard about maxxforce
@@TruckinginJs so this is not maxxforce engine.
@@TruckinginJs i have maxxforce dt466 , no issues ...
Have you changed out your batteries yet? If so how many batteries it has ?
Yes we just did. It has 2
@@TruckinginJs thanks I just called the international truck dealer and they said it holds 3 batteries lol I have a 2015 international 4300.🤷🏾♂️
There is room for 3 but there were only 2 in there to replace.
@@TruckinginJs okay thanks. How about your NOx sensor has that went bad as yet
No we've been good on that
what year is this truck bro?
2015
Guys can you plz tell me how far can you drive once that light comes on. I'm stuck 90 miles away from Albuquerque on a truck stop. Kinda afraid to drive that far.
You have time just change it soon.
Nice I live in NM with a box truck business
Great
Is the a DT466 in that machine?
No Cummins 6.7
Where is your gloves
He gone learn! 😂
There is a ton of videos showing the same thing and it's a 2004 so it's way irrelevant by this time your just repeating what you saw on a old video
Bro, you never mentioned the Magnet, that filter has a magnet that needs to be transferred to the new one.........
Where is the washer?
