Been listening to Hammerfall 26 years, since Legacy of Kings. There´s been good times and not so good times, maybe 2011 Infected the lowest point, but from (r)Evolution onwards everything was fine again and the new album is very good, in their top 5 me thinks. More spins !
hahaha, i finally found my mental twin. exactly the same here. i discovered em also ages ago. i remember chapter five was the first album that really came with all the "mainstream" promo stuff like posters, merch etc. and it was so great! But infected never got me. after that they faded out of my view, although i stayed true to metal. i discovered all the "new" bands like battle beast, serenity, warkings etc. but somehow i rediscovered hammerfall with dominion and was ashamed having turned away. but now everything is fine again. 😁
