In 2023 HAMMERFALL are celebrating the success of Crimson Thunder achieving Platinum status in Sweden. Continuing their retrospective series, the band released their very own 20-Year Anniversary edition via Nuclear Blast on April 28th!
Their fourth studio album has been remixed and remastered by Fredrik Nordstrom, and this definitive version will include previously unreleased pre-production tracks, a brand-new medley and live acoustic songs.

I haven´t listend to HammerFall for real, like when I did it every day for years, so when I see there are only 82k subs.... Makes me feel sad. My brother had this album, and I got hooked. Bought all the ones up to this one and the next one, the Chapter V Unbent Unbroken one. I even have a live album. Somewhere.... It´s good btw.
I have seen them live once as well, but I was like 11 then. Listening to some of these songs brings back memories from a very much better time. Like, from being in the back of a car an listening to this after a hard day of... Shopping ( I have social phobia) so that was hard. Trailblazers... Angel of Mercy, The Unforgivng Blade... And then The Hero´s Return. Rise and conquer, let the infidels burn!
Though I have to say, I really hate Hearts on fire haha, it was on TV here in Sweden so much and it is the worst song on the album anyway

But ever since i heard Hammerfall the first time, my favorite band.

Follow the sights of the chrimson thunder - a person is never alone - in extreme cases, he is guided by nature.
Unlike Sabatton's few distinct track, this album has it all, each track is unique. Much love for Hammerfall. The Crimson Thunder is probably their best track, I'm in love with it.

It's been 20 years since I first heard Hammerfall now!? My first song is Rider's of the Storm and is still my favorite. They playing in Houston soon, and I'll see them for a 2nd time! LET THE HAMMERFALL! ❤ yes I know that's off Legacy of Kings!
