  • Metallic Red and Gold - Cataphractii Terminators painted in one evening. This video is a step by step guide on how to achieve a similar paint job. I also talk about why setting a time limit when painting a miniature can result in a new tool in your hobby toolbox. Finally, I have no idea what happened to my hair in the opening shot but I can assure you it has not fallen off.

Fantastic video! That red looks great and I'm confident the battle between Ninjago, Dinosaurs, and Space Marines will be legendary. I agree with setting a time limit too, I make sure I don't go over 2hrs unless I'm invested in what I'm painting but I think 2hrs is perfect to prevent boredom because once that sets in the fun begins to fade fast
    Great video Alex

The cinematography, the immaculate script and narration, the lesson to be learned by the end of the video- it's unlike any other piece of miniature painting content I've ever seen. Hey guys!! I just want to push back a bit. If you're using rattlecans, I would still recommend you basecoat your mini's first. The rattlecans don't always adhere properly to bare plastic. The rattlecans also do go in and out of production, and have their formula's changed relatively often. So if you've found a colour you really like and expect to be working on the same army/project for more than a couple years, I would recommend you pick up maybe half a dozen cans and store them in a dark cupboard!
Thanks for the vid though 52! Great work!
