But she still returned to the 98% likeness to the old Rushia persona, keeping the same attitude, mannerisms, expressions, and everything else. As for me - yes, this is the correlation to the absence of personal growth.

Nah, enough has been changed to argue that it isn't copyright infringement. Also, it is hard to say what Cover and artists have as contracts...but due to it being the same artist he could argue on Mikuneko's behalf that he has a "type" he draws. Even if Cover DID sue, there is no guarantee they would win. And seeing as they will never use the Rushia model again and Meku being a small streamer...it probably isn't worth their time.
Probably not, because it doesn't worth for Cover to fight with an independent youtuber unless others will follow her example. I doubt they want to be associated with stupid quarrels.

I think the one thing that everyone forgets is that, this is Yasuyuki-sensei's style. A lot of his models actually look similar.
But other than the possibility that some legal implications delay the possibility of this model happening, many of us know that there's nothing stopping Mikeneko and Yasuyuki from working together.

For some reason, I had it in my mind that the artist would avoid the same person who got his design benched in one of the biggest Vtuber agencies.
From what I saw on Twitter, it seems like he has a good relationship with Mikeneko.

That wasn't the issue. The issue is that she looks like a Rushia clone. Look at Mano Aloe vs Delutaya, Kiryu Coco vs Kson. Same artists, but different enough that you'd be dumb to say they're clones. Meanwhile look at Rushia vs this Mikeneko model, they're so similar you'd be forgiven to think it's still Rushia with just a different outfit.
@@HudaefCares it was a request by Neko-chan, I think to get as close to that appearance as possible. It could be that she still misses that appearance. And it worked to her favor so far since it caught the attention of everyone but her old agency.

Seem like it. She was Vtuber Mikeneko for a few months and got contract with Vshoujo during middle. She would update this persona from time to time. Few others are known to have another persona or go back to an old one for a bit. She recently released a song as Mikeneko earlier this year. Got it on ITunes
I mean she's done streams as Mikeneko on and off after being Nazuna so I'd say just expect Mikeneko streams to be less frequent, though I'd Imagine a larger portion of Rushia viewers watch her as Mikeneko rather than Nazuna due to Mikeneko being on RUclips rather than Twitch, though on the bright side for Nazuna being on Twitch has opened her up to an entirely new audience (also a huge Foreign audience that love her and that must be reassuring for her)
Well, getting a new model of this quality is not an easy choice for just some streams. Get what you mean. Way I see it, just keeping up both and if she doesn't renew contract with VShoujo, she can go back to this model, or if she keeps Nazuna model cause she also put money on it, she can alternate between them cause they have established audience for each.
I swear, I have never used Twitch until a few months ago cause I knew it would be bit tough alternating between stream schedules. Also, more of a listener than watcher of Livestreams. Only started using cause there are now a few I do want to see but they are only on Twitch. Just been watching Nazuna clips.
Mikeneko was a streaming monster especially as Rushia. Expect 1.5 to 2 times the amount of streams.
I believe in the past it was mentioned using mikeneko as her youtube only channel and nazuna only on twitch for vshojo

She really need to move on from Rushia, the girl literally enter the gray area. Just within a short times after Hololive, she has already owned more than 3 or 4 different models, they’re more and more resembled the old Rushia. And the model this time is borderline dangerous, considering what happens between her and Cover before. A litter bit more resembles and Cover might strike her for using “Rushia” for her own sake.
We’re all respect Coco for having a clean cut, but Mike is just... Unstable, hasn’t she also has another persona that working together with Kson? That’s also such a waste of character, I don’t like the way she keeps making more and abandoned them, it’s just not right...

Kind of cool and her choice if she wants to use this model, but personally not a fan. It shows she hasnt moved on yet, and she should accept her Nazuna/Mikeneko career as it is now. Making yourself look like the Rushia model won't undo what happened. Besides, this isn't really a reason based in logic, but honestly...it just feels...off? Like, I've accepted Rushia being gone for quite a bit now and now the new model is essentially ripoff Rushia (cat girl instead of necromancer, and I dont mean this in a rude way). It sort of makes me feel weird. Like it looks almost exactly like Rushia but it isn't that same character. It's the same person yea, but not the character. Hard to explain.
I guess one good thing that could come out of this is that maybe companies will gradually let people keep their models if they see people skirting around policies like this. Though, probably not lol. People never learn...

She started mikeneko shortly after the incident, and intermittently streamed there, but it was more an extension of her personal persona, Mid 2022 she joined Vshojo as Nazuna and is still way more active there, streaming on twitch than the former. So yes she's had 2 vtubers for a while now.
